Clickbank - can you run a sales page on and off Clickbank?

Hi Warriors.

I am finally crawling towards my launch date in a non-IM niche. Product's ready and sales page is up - phew!

But, I need to get some affiliates pushing this eBook, so I am going to register it with Clickbank. If I do that, I have to do the payment processing through them. That's fine for affiliate sales, but for the sales from my page that I drive myself I want to do that outside of Clickbank - i.e a Paypal or merchant account payment direct to me.

How do I do that?

Many thanks.

Will

    You can:
1- copy the sales page and save it as, for example, index1.htm for paypal,
    index2.htm for paydotcom etc, or

2- get another domain name. Let's say your clickbank site it makemoney.com,
use hyphen for your paypal site make-money.com

There should be a script to detect visitors from affiliate hop links and direct visitors

I'm not sure how this is setup. Could someone help?

    It's all about redirect.

What you can do is make 2 websites (site 1 for paypal, site 2 for clickbank):
The visitors who comes from affiliate links will be redirected to site 2.
You can do this with a simple .htaccess file.

Never never do that if you sell through CB!!! I can't stress strongly enough!! You want CB affiliates..... so if you have PP processing as an alternative YOU WILL LOSE YOUR AFFILIATES AND GO DOWN THE DRAIN!!! No one will promote your product if you have an alternative payment on your domain, or at least not super affiliates!!! Never deceive your affiliates! If anyone (or affiliates that's worth their salt) see you opt for a different payment processor, this is a sudden death for your online enterprise!!!

no problem, just make duplicate pages and one page put clickbank payment links, the other page paypal etc..etc... and then for the clickbank submission your clickbank payment link could be yoursite.com/clickbank.php and thats how you submit it to clickbank.
(Thats also where the hoplink would end up.)

The default page index.html/index.php could have your paypal links on it.

    Interesting GeorgR. Thanks.

So in Clickbank "My Products" you would put yoursite.com/clickbank.php?

But, when people click on "Pitch Page," will not the url also be yoursite/clickbank.php?

That is not a clean url.... Am I not seeing something?
