Hi all, When I do a google search using different browsers, I get different results when I enter the same keyword phrase. My ISP is AOL, and if I type www.google.com into my browser and do a search using one of my own keyword phrases, one of my blogs and one of my ezine articles shows up on page 1 of google. If I carry out the same search using internet explorer or firefox, my blog appears on page 11, and my article appears on page 6. Whether I use aol, internet explorer, and firefox, the number of people searching is identical, so why do I get such different results ? Thanks John |

You'll need aol to check it out though. If anyone does use aol, could you please check it out for me ? If you haven't got aol, then your ideas would be most welcome. Here's an example of what I mean. I've used another ezine article at random, written by someone called Ethan Grays to see if the same problem showed up.....it did ! Using the keywords .. panic attacks children. The article below shows up on google via aol on page 1, yet on internet explorer and firefox it shows up on page 8. http://ezinearticles.com/?Panic-Attacks-in-Children---3-Safe-Ways-You-Can-Treat-Panic-Attacks-in-Children&id=1870991 I don't understand why....because after all, google should be google choose which way you access it. It's thrown me out because I thought I was doing well to get a front seat on google, but it would appear that I'm really many rows back !! ![]() Thanks for listening to me. John. |
