Barack Obama Website--What Would You Do?

INTERNET MARKETING

I have what I think will be a very profitable website. My real goal is to flip the site once it is optimized but I think I can make some money with it too.

I'm looking for opinions on what you experienced fellow warriors would suggest.

Right now the site just has a WP theme installed and a message about selling the domain and the site.

Take a peek and I'd love to have your opinions/feedback

Sell T-shirts from Cafepress with Obama stuff on them.

....until they come censor you and shut you down for using their names......

  Nope. They're officially public domain. It sucks like that being a 'rock star' and President.
  
  But, what you can't do is take an existing copyrighted photo or drawing of the Prez and use it without authorization. That will get you in hot water with the owner of the photo.

I suspect the President will be a very hot topic for the next 8 years.

I don't see how you won't make good money with a site revolving around him.

Add some content and get some backlink. Build some PR then flip. I am working on doing just that have a look at http://obamaofficialsite.com/

I thought they were in public domain, that's why I registered that name and other variations of that.

I think it will be a money maker.

But, maybe not much worth to flip? What do u guys think?

Obviously there will be lots of RSS feeds if I add those, too.

You might get away with it, but if you start to receive any decent traffic.........well

I would expect and C&D letter or just an attempt to take your domain directly away from you.
