"Marking up" an online live screencast presentation

Is this possible? Say that I am doing an online screen-sharing presentation by something like join.me. I will be talking to callers on a conference call and they can also see my Powerpoint presentation on their screen. Cool! They can see my mouse cursor move, this is how I emphasize something... with my mouse. Is there a way to mark up my Powerpoint as I talk? Draw lines, arrows, circles, highlight a phrase, etc.

By the way, I also have a cool Wacom Capture CTH-470 digitizer tablet that allows me to draw and stuff with a digital pen stylus.

In lieu of that, can I make my cursor be bigger or turn into a highlighted circle or something similar so people can see it better?

I found markup.io. It looks great. It will work on a webpage, but I guess not on a live presentation powerpoint.

Isn't there a markup tool in the lower left hand corner of PowerPoint? When you're in a presentation, I believe there is a downward facing arrow in the lower left corner, and if you click on it it gives you the option of a marker. When you're done, you go back to the arrow to resume the presentation. I'm working from memory, but I think that's the case.

I realize that functionality may be inhibited by the sharing application, so I'm not the authority, but I used to facilitate classes all of the time, and sometimes we'd use the marker to draw personalized information on the first screen prior to a class. When we were ready to begin, we'd go to the bottom left and resume the presentation and the markups would disappear, but we were moving on to a different screen so it didn't matter.
    I hope this is helpful.
