How do I integrate Aweber with Butterfly Marketing Script?

Greetings fellow Warriors!

I am trying to integrate my Aweber newsletter with one of my Butterfly Marketing membership sites, so members are added to my newsletter when they sign up to the site.

I've searched Google and also searched here on the Warrior Forum. All the information I've found is either incorrect, or outdated, as Aweber changed a few things with their forms over the years.

Does anyone know how to integrate Aweber properly with BFM? For those who work with BFM, I am referring to the section in the Admin area under Settings>Sign Up Settings>3rd Party Autoresponders.

If anyone can help, I detailed reply would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Kurt

i have not looked ant the buterfly script in a very long time, but i thought is was just entering your aweber subscription email address. that is "YourListName@aweber.com"

sending a blank email to that address will subscribe the person to your list. I may be wrong, but i think i remember the butterfly script just using php to send a subscription email to your aweber subscription address "from" your users email address.

It's a bit old is that script, wouldn't you better of using Wordpress and some Membership theme like Optimize Press?

Unless you never updated it from a very early release, it should already be integrated.

OK, I finally figured it out. The problem is that, the test email I was using, was already in my list, so I wasn't being added (duh!)

Anyway, for those who are having the same problem, here are the values I have set:

web-address (URL) of your autoresponder's form processing page: aweber.com/scripts/addlead.pl

Fieldname of the 'First Name' Field: name
Fieldname of the 'E-Mail' Field: from

    Other Values
    unit: my list name
meta_web_form_id: my web forms 10 digit ID number
    meta_forward_vars: 1
    meta_redirect_onlist: url to my OTO
    redirect: url to my OTO

My site runs off the My Traffic Business script by Brett Ingram, which runs off an older version of BFM, which is why I had to do all this manually. These values should automatically be filled in with the newest version of BFM, and would just require you to add specific values for your list.

Did the same. Still doesn't wanna work.

Noticed your post goes way back to May. I think I've noticed some more changes done by aweber with regards to field's names.

UPDATE: Problem solved! Was a simple browser cache issue.
