    Hi Curious,

You would use Facebook as YOU for all your personal stuff. If you have a business or website that you are promoting then you would use a Facebook page for that e.g. Curious and Eager's Blue Widgets

Do you have a business that you are trying to promote? If not, then don't use the page functionality yet.

If you look at Facebook's help section, there are loads of useful articles on how to use and setup Facebook.

When you are using facebook as page, you are on behalf of your page. When you comment on an update or post on a wall of page or profile, people will see your page wall when they click on you(page name).

While when you are using facebook as yourself and do the same things, people will see your profile page. That's what I know.

        All of that plus this:

There's a 5,000 friends limit on your personal profile so once you max this, that's your reach. Pages on the other hand have a "somewhat limitless" capacity for fans. The oxymoron is there because you never know what Zuckerberg and co will throw at you.

        Good look!

    Facebook Personal Profile= for you
    Facebook Page= for your business

Why you should not set up Facebook Personal Profile for your business?
Because it has friends limitation. You can only have 5,000 friends

Why you should use Facebook Page for your business?
Because it has a lot of features/ apps that could booster your business and fans.

As far as I know facebook profile is for individuals while facebook page is for businesses or organizations. Just my two cents.
