5000 pageviews - only 2 facebook fans

Hi guys. This is my first post so first I want to say hello. Few months ago I started an electronic music blog on Bulgarian language as a project for a SEO course. After few days work the course was over and I stopped working on the blog. A week ago I translated the blog, did some SEO improvements and have written new posts. In my opinion the design and the content are good. For a week I got about 5000 pageviews with traffic mainly from pinterest type of site, but much smaller. For one week and 5000 pageviews (maybe junk traffic) I got only 2 fans on facebook no matter that I use likebox and picture link which are very visible. Also I have difficulties with generating other types of traffic - it is from this site and Google Images. Any ideas of improvement are greatly appreciated.

You need high quality content on your website to get people "Like" your fan page.

This is probably the most visible result of Google's push towards social-media traffic. You have to get high quality content that people will enjoy reading, learn something after they've read it, or it directs them to other sources that provide valuable information. The better the quality, they better the feedback.

Also, you may be targeting a group of people you did not expect, and which may not be the crowd you intended to attract. Install Google analytics, and check the traffic again in a week or two to see which keywords are getting you that traffic. In any case, you should decide who exactly you want on your site, and install the proper keywords to attract those people. You may find that 'electronic' is attracting that traffic when you are really more interested in music enthusiasts.

    Be well,

This is a blogger blog so I have the interface which tells me how people have reached my site. Thanks for the blog carnivals idea. If it comes to music blog where should I promote myself - digg, stumbleupon, delicious and reddit don't work for me and as I think they won't work if I haven't posted about 200-300 important news links. Any other tactics are greatly appreciated.

Find other sites, forums, etc. that share your niche and allow you to post links. Doing that may get some better traffic for you.

Thanks. And could you tell me how much niche forums/sites should I post to everyday in order to achieve results. Some of you have probably done this and could give some example in average numbers.
