Google is Showing Content Stolen from My Site ... And NOT My Content
I've filed a DMCA request.
Ever since this latest update, I've really found Google getting worse and worse in a lot of areas. I've noticed a big drop-off in the quality of the results I've been getting. I'm not talking about my own site, but for other sites. I do a lot of research nearly every day, and so I'm very familiar with good results and bad results in my field.
For the first time since I started using Google however-many-years-ago, I'm seriously starting to consider switching to Bing and giving them a real open and honest chance (something I never wanted to "waste" my time doing before). I've heard a number of other people in the "professional" web world say the same thing lately.
It was the "tech-savvy" crowd that brought Google to prominence in the beginning. But it seems many in this crowd are starting to sour on them now.
The beginning of the end? (Granted, it would only be the very-very-very-very beginning it was.)
