In my opinion it is when sites went from static HTML to social and or user generated by people who don't need to know html...so blogs, facebook, squidoo, twitter, etc.

Its actually a programming platform. Hmmm its basically how the backbone of the site is built and Web 2.0 sites are designed so that it is Search Engine friendly and at the same time user friendly.

Web 2.0 basically refers to sites that function around user-generated content. Think about a site like Youtube, social bookmarking site, and article directiories. The users that upload drive the site. Before this, it was basically about websites (not blogs) that had static content that didn't change that much. They were basically a place just to find information. There was little interaction with the visitors of the site (usually buy something or leave kind of thing). Does that make sense?

This is exactly what web 2.0 is. Also searchable with their own algorithm like Google, etc.

During Web 1.0 era, only statics HTML pages are available and viewer/user to view, He/She can't interact with the website.

Web 2.0 is a concept that takes the network as a platform for user-centered design, information sharing, interoperability and collaboration on Internet World.

A Web 2.0 website allows users to interact and collaborate with each other in a social media dialogue as creators of user-generated content in virtual community.

Examples of Web 2.0 website include:
    - social media website (facebook, twitter, linked-in & etc)
    - Blogs
    - Wikis
    - Youtube (Video Sharing)
    - Web Application...
