Use suggest to friends tool, and if you have budget you can set up a Fb ad

Your page is alright try and get some paid likes through facebook ads or other means. Nobody really wants to be the new or first customer to anything. It's always, it everyone is liking it it's probably great

I've just been sent an advertising coupon from Facebook so I've set up an advert for this page and hopefully this will get the ball rolling thanks for the advice.

I would also suggest running a FB ad for your fan page. Also, the really cool thing is that once you have a whole bunch of fans, you can target them specifically in your ads account to market to them on a continual basis.

You can connect your facebook with multiple programs such as: twitter, youtube, foursquare, and so on...

You could connect them all together to generate more traffic, also if your stuggling with likes, you could always us fiverr.com to grab 1,000 or so. We do it alot for our clients so they look more established then a page that has 6 or so likes. You can add a custom page to the facebook page, and have a giveaway of a product? This generates alot of buzz as well.

You have to realize that people on Facebook are not looking to be sold or to do business. They get on Facebook to be social. Content on your fan page needs to be interesting to people and simply can't (for most businesses anyway) be all business. Someone else suggested that you use the 'suggest to friends' tool, which can give you a good start. Get people you know on your page first and you can get some growth from that. There's also some groups on LinkedIn where people exchange likes, so that might help you to start out.

One other tip for you that I noticed is that you have a call to action in your cover photo. I'd advise you take that down as it's against their terms which you can view here, section III part B... https://www.facebook.com/page_guidelines.php

Bottom line, I've been studying Facebook marketing for a long time now and it is a tricky business for sure! Just remember that generally speaking, people are not on Facebook to for business, they're on to have fun and be social, so if you can play that game you will get more likes. Good luck!
