Does Bit.ly allow unlimited link tracking?

Hi there, i am thinking of using bit.ly to track clicks of links. May i know if this service allows the tracking of unlimited clicks, or must i upgrade to a paid account for clicks beyond a certain limit?

    Please excuse this observation, Desmond, since it doesn't strictly answer your question, but ...

    I think this probably isn't a service which I'd ever be willing to use, myself, at all. For a really large number of reasons, but here are just five of them ...

    (i) Many people are (most understandably, in my opinion) unwilling to click on bit.ly links;

    (ii) I'd have grave misgivings about using a service run under a Libyan domain-name: The .ly domain space to be considered unsafe | :Ben Metcalfe Blog

    (iii) To me, it makes little sense to let any aspect of your business be dependent on an unncessary third-party service whose continuation, security, safety and reliability are completely outside your control;

    (iv) There are many better methods available, for url-shortening, click-redirection and monitoring/analysis;

    (v) I think it looks unprofessional, implausible and as if you're deliberately concealing something from the user.

    Just my perspective, of course.
