How do I get free email submits system?

Hi, I just tried listwire to collect a new email list I'm trying to build, but they bombard ads at the my customers who are trying to submit their email address to me.
Do you know any other way that is free so I can put a email submit form on my site and have their emails safely and securely collected or sent to me?
Thanks
John

You've to purchase autoresponder account like Aweber or Getresponse & also a plugin to make thing easy. May be Optin Pressor (Plugin for wordpress blog only).

I just tried getresponse, they suck imo, I can't even see my email list or export it.
aweber seems expensive to me for list size, but I guess that's all there is out there?
I was hoping for other choices. I"m a small start up and racking up monthly charges sort of concerns me at this stage.

Is the last part true? I've been thinking about trying GetResponse, this will definitely be a drawback.
        Sorry for beeing OT.

          Hi Morten,

Of course you can export your list/contacts. You simply click on contacts --> search. Select the campaign list to export and set some parameters in the search or just leave the fields blank and click search, then on the results page in the lower right you will see and export button. You can export to a XML, XL or CSV file.

If you have questions support is there to help or feel free to ping me.

          Regards,
          jim

Thanks Jim, finally I got it with your instructions. But honestly those instructions should not have to come from warrior forum after an hour of frustration on getresponse They should be front and center with a nice big icon saying "export " on the dashboard and on the video tutorial it should also have the current version of getresponse not an out dated version.
Thanks for jumping in here to help me though.

Yea, I was so frustrated after 1 hour of trying to do basic functions that I just gave up and sent them an email to let them know all the things that didn't work, like the video tutorial is out of date and doesn't apply to existing program .
I many try aweber but I'm going to do some searching first I guess.

I've used Aweber a while back and the export was fairly easy to use. Though I don't think it's harder wth GetResponse if you just know how.

Hi John, Side point a bit...
Don't ever use Free Email System to get opt-ins, You should get a paid AutoResponder likes : GVO, GetResponse, Aweber as your Email System.

Do you know that your email list is your greatest Asset in your online marketing journey for building your online empire.
With paid Autoresponder, it will help to serve your customer better and also release part of your works with consistent manner.

Thanks, yes I'm begining to see that . My priority needs to be shifted to building a good list, and that has to be my long term top priortiy as well. I'm used to thinking of email as an extra rather than the life line.

It depends on how good you are with code and implementing it on your site. There are different tutorials and code chunks out there that you can use. The biggest problem is usually sending e-mail from your host. If you are using a shared host (assuming since you are looking for a free list tool) they usually put limits on the number of e-mails you send out.
