    A LITTLE polishing?

It's gibberish. No editing, no formatting, but I bet the keyword density for 'study guitar' is right up there...

Gotta tell you that I was a former news editor and just looking at the layout of the article, I think it's a piece of crap. Where are the paragraphs that separate one idea from the next? Does the author really expect people to read that?

As I read the article it screams at me that the person who wrote it isn't a native English speaker. The article should have been outsourced to someone who has a command of the English language.

      Quality? No.

Semi-quality after a little polishing? No.

Even a little snippet of quality? No.

I'd be disappointed even with only paying 5 bucks for that thing, sadly.

Too much wrong to even list it all over beyond what the others have already pointed out.

That isn't even worth a re-write, it is only good for one thing...the trash.

I don't know who the author is and I certainly don't mean to be rude or anything, but was just trying to be honest and truthful. Hopefully, it will help someone to improve or find a different venue for a business and become one step closer to success.

Learn what? That the Internet is full of garbage, produced by scammers who can't even write one sentence in English? We already know that.

Man, take it easy on me. I couldn't help laughing. Btw, I am learning. The sales page is different either. I thought I wasn't good enough to write( I'm not a native english speaker), but after reading that article and the comments here, my morale has been boosted.

I always believe that I can learn from a bad example as much as I can from a good example. So, that being said, what have you learned from the site and the comments on this thread?

Seriously, that article needs editing. It's full of fluff. There are no paragraphs that separate one idea from the other. It appears to me that the writer was trying to meet a word count requirement.

Want an honest answer in a word...CR*P!
It is that bad I couldn't bring myself to finish it!

At first I thought maybe it was written by a non English native...
But then the spelling is correct..Emm maybe they spun it...?

I think you can tell from a mile away the quality of that article...
That article and the site itself would need not a little polishing, but a complete rewrite and redesign, because in its current form it would scare away anyone who would ever land on it.

The core of good web content is scanability, which this website definitely lacks.

I made the mistake of reading two articles and now I want to slash my wrists. This is PLR keyword-infested garbage at it's worst.

The content certainly needs polishing... polishing off with an angle grinder

Not a bad design though, put some decent content on it (about guitars) remove anything related to ghastly keyboards and anything else that cannot play shred. Use plenty of images of cool guitars, lots of sound files, add some videos from YT of Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmstein, SRV, find some good accurate tab, especially Metallica stuff. and then promote it where guitarist's hang out.
Don't forget a product page and review or two.

You can't blame anyone for his or her choice, you know. I remember I wanted to sell a site on Reverse Phone Look up in 2009. I made only two sales from that website and I was honest to let them know why I had just two sales. As at that time, I was working and had no time to really promote the site. Did anyone buy? HELL NO!

I am not going to talk about the layout of the site because I am a visual person. It's too much for a picky person like me to talk about its look.

Secondly, English is not my first language, I often hope my visitors can take it easy on me when it comes to grammer or spelling, so I am not going to talk about the writing either.

I check the site out because I just brought my daughter a guitar. She wants to learn it herself, since she have ready learned piano for 5 years. My question is where are the 10000 free guitar lessons? I couldn't find it!

A little thought. Why didn't I have someone talk about my blog even it's something ugly...to bring traffic to my site... Wait a minute, I am not sure if I can handle all the criticize.

No, jideofor, I am not the author of that article. I am a designer also a visual person. My blog looks a LOT prettier than that guitar site :-)

I won't judge the spelling only because English is my second language. I have a LOT more confidence with my niche content and the looks of my blog than grammar.

Well personally the site is a load of crap. For starters the person has no idea how to write and needs to improve their grammer etc. But, also i am a little bit puzzled at what they are trying to sell. Clearly its more about loans and insurance than learning to play the guitar, crafty little marketing trick for advertising and money making but like normal just a completly stupid concept for a site. However, can not complain if they are making money from the add revenue.

          That's an excellent point Cali!

You've just brought that piece masquerading as an article some real value!

It's the perfect example of what happens when you take blind advice from the popcorn gallery regarding what you should do to make money online rather than doing your own due diligence as well as being in IM for the money rather than actually trying to give value to your potential clientele.

I know. I got the computer. I got the Internet connection. Nothing!

Then I connected the computer to the modem (dating myself here). Still nothing!

      True story...

My first engineering job was with a small manufacturing company. They had one dedicated drafting computer, and one drafter who actually knew how to run it.

When they acquired one of their competitors, there was an AT&T PC tagged for the engineering department. When I was hired, that computer was sitting in a corner under a dust cover.

When I asked about it, I was told there was something wrong with it. Actually, one of the other engineers told me it was stupid. I asked him to show me what he meant. He booted the machine up, and at the DOS prompt typed in "Can I use part ABC123 for ABC124?" and hit enter. Got the 'huh?' error message (I don't remember the wording - it was over 20 years ago).

"See? It's stupid. Ask it anything and that's what you get."

I typed in 'dir' at the prompt, and got a directory listing. That alone was enough to make me the office 'computer guy'. We ended up using that thing for everything from database work to finite element analysis (a very math-heavy modelling technique).

The moral of the story is that the computer was useless if you didn't know how to use it to accomplish what you wanted to accomplish.

LOL this is an interesting technique. Do you think this could actually work to make a crappy site like this and use adsense with it? So do you think people would be trying so hard to leave that they would click an adsense ad? Someone make a WSO quick! In all reality this is an honest question. Would you get your adsense suspended for terrible content? I am also not saying I want to do this as there is enough trash on the internet just wondering if it is a viable technique?

It was more of a joke than anything else. I would wager that a user would be much more likely to hit the back button on their browser before they notice an ad worth clicking. Of course, you are more than welcome to be the one to test the theory .

There is some truth in this theory, which explains why ugly sites are said to have a higher CTR. You only have to look at the xfactor adsense theme or the ctr theme...

Those would probably be low quality clicks and you'd run the risk of being banned from AdSense.

I figured it was more of a joke and thought most people would just use the back button, but I thought it was kind of intriguing. It would be interesting to do some sort of a split test and see what happens with same theme, one with content that is spun and of terrible quality and one with decent quality(same articles but one blog only has spun stuff from your other blog) and see what the ctr of adsense ads is. Too bad i'm busy with other stuff and really don't feel like spending money and time to see. lol
