Drive traffic to single product affiliate site

Fellow warriors,

I am working on a review site for a health product from clickbank.
I am building backlinks to my site everyday and will be constantly adding more contents such as reviews & other related information in the niche.

I am planning to add more contents to make sure my site has some sort of authority and will not be categorized as "thin affiliate site".

My problem is that I am not seeing any good improvement in my rankings yet and while working on SEO, I'd like to work on an alternate traffic source that is non-Google related.

I am thinking of using social websites but I am unsure of the correct method to do it.

What would be best way to promote such single product site?

Thanks!

    Story,

    1) Cool wF name - I like that. Simple.

    2) SEO stuff can take 4 - 32 weeks + to see any type of useful results, --- if your keywords you're optimizing are super specific with low competition and your sprinkling the right amount of link building seasoning into it.

I would advise you to familiarize yourself with article marketing if you're going to take this approach. Every time you add content to your site - spin it around and keep it relevant and throw it into high quality sites that can give you a significant backlink - such as an Ezine - and other content/distribution networks.

Dont drive yourself nutz over SEO. There are so many other ways to drive traffic to your site. Consider Youtube and forum marketing in particular.

If you have money, there's always paid advertising. For free, non-seo traffic, there's a WSO called Facebook Fan Page Thief, or something like that. In my opinion, it's one of the few courses here that teaches several legitimate strategies for getting traffic that are different from the same tired old lame methods that get thrown out here time and time again. One caveat though: If your site is crap, it probably isn't going to work.

It will be difficult to rank, particularly with any number of similar Clickbank products in that niche. Consider building a list, which will provide multiple exposures to your subscribers. For driving traffic, I have often recommended this ebook, Turn Words Into Traffic by Jim and Dallas Edwards. This timeless classic outlines a powerful marketing formula that is more relevant today than ever before especially since Google's flurry of algorithm changes. In my experience, this ebook is an ideal fit for your marketing model. It is what I do.

I agree with the one(s) above who say paid advertising could get you to where you need to be in search results faster. However, no matter what, SEO takes time.

Review site, which count on its article content can get advantages using SEO method, but usually can get more boost by submitting their reviews on article directories. Try Ezine and look for SEO tips that specialize on Ezine. Don't forget to put a back-link to your own site.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. I appreciate them a lot.

PPC sounds awesome, but I have no prior experience and I can be sure that I am going to lose money by going down this route.

Either SEO or article writing, free traffic is going to take time & effort. I rather not risk it all in Google.
I will look into the Turn words into traffic, looks like it's a good fit to my need right now.

Still, wouldn't hurt to have more suggestions coming.

Try using Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook because they are good traffic sources for your website. Just remember don't overdo your promotion or these sites will brand you as a spammer...
