Please Help! Need Advice.

Hi there fellow warriors,

I have a bit of a problem.

Have two sites that were doing ok with traffic then all of a sudden I am recording zero traffic on google analytics. Also I had about 6 pages indexed in google for one of the sites and none of the pages can be found.

Please any idea what the problem could be and how I can rectify it.

The sites are in the warts/hpv niche and diabetes niche.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Google may be kicked off your site from SERP.

      Go to Google and type in
      site:domainname.com

      If there are no results, Google has banned your site from their search engine. They may have done a quality review and found them to be low quality search engine fodder. The game has changed a lot since the Panda and Penguin updates to Google and it may not be worth attempting to resurrect those sites at all. Google wants high quality sites with unique content and preferably authority type sites with more information rather than less. They don't want overly search engine optimized gibberish launched just for serps. They want sites that their visitors would find useful to read and visit.

    First find the reason, why Google may banned you? Then take action.

    Also you can check your Robot.txt and make sure everything okay.

    Would you sites by any chance happen to have the 6 or so pages all optimized around the same keyword which is in your domain name?

    If so google updated about a week ago regarding EMD (exact match domains) supposedly it should only effect low quality sites with EMD but it seems to have, as usual for google, been very heavy handed effecting even larger sites with lots of good content.

    This is only a guess as you really need to give us more info or your urls to get a proper answer. But a six page site immediately makes me thing sniper/mini/micro niche site which is usualy EMD. Drop your url in a reply here and i'll take a closer look for you.

    Well, if you lose your traffic or ranks around April then its surly because of panda or penguin. You need to do research and find out the main reason. Panda is only responsible for this if your website have low quality or copied content else its penguin due to low quality and exact match keywords in linkbuilding and over optimization.

    So can this issue be rectified? Or does it mean I should give up on those sites. One of the sites has over 25 pages of content.

    Try to ping it and get some quality backlinks. For pining you can use bulkping.com and submit rss feed by creating with feedburner not normal WP feed or other. Get social bookmarking backlinks rather than the old fashioned anchor text. Google bot do not love them if you use too much.

    do your pages still shop up in google (but not on top pages anymore)? Or are they gone completely? then it looks like google would have penalized you.....
    if not, maybe the competitors did just more for their pages and passed you....
    would also be interested how to find out what the reason is....
