Myth
Networking, referrals and introductions are typically the same forms of actions and re-actions.

Truth
Wrong. Introduction is always better than referral.
Referral = phone #
Introduction = luncheon

Myth
Superior service and advanced credentials provide competitive advantages to attracting customers.

Truth
Service, knowledge, educational quality are an expectation, depending on industry. (e.g. law, finance, PR) Short-term = tough attraction
Long-term = abandonment
