If you do end up with a good mentor, and not fall into what Ken is trying to warn you about (correctly), keep this in mind: All the points you have raised are fine, but none are yet about the two most important things. You and Your Target Market.

Your mentor needs to learn who you are, what are your values, what are your goals, what drives you, what interests you, what your strengths are, what your weaknesses are, what motivates you, what inspires you, what you like to do, what you dislike doing, etc... Any real mentor should want to know that, and more, about you.

Knowing yourself, your mentor should then work with you to identify a target market that fits into your worldview, your values, your ideals, etc... That target market then needs to be understood so you know what the market's wants and needs are. You need to know what the pain points are for your target market, and what the pleasure points are.

After you know all that, then you can get into the technology. A mentor will move you into all those conversations.

If you are just looking for a system to implement, be very wary of whomever will 'offer' you that...

Hope you got money to pay for one. And you should be very serious. Cause 98% of the serious and profitable consultants/mentors you hire aren't cheap (me included), and dont like their time being wasted.
