How to deal with (old) backlinks to aged domains?

Hi,

I ordered a domain at 1&1 Domains as a new domain.

Now I see that is a 3 years old domain, no problem, only better than a complete new domain.

Now I see in Market Samurai that there are 0 backlinks to the main URL, but 147 external backlinks to the entire site.
These are to pages and posts created on this domain by the former owner I think.

These posts and pages don't longer exist.
I'm a free user of MajesticSEO, and I discovered some URLs of these posts.

Do these backlinks "hurt" my site regarding Google SEO?

How should I deal with this?

Any tip is very welcome...

Put up some pages on the URL's the site has backlinks for. Keep them short if needed to take advantage of the backlinks and any traffic coming from them. You can usually tell from the URL's what the original page was about.

You can either install a 301 or 404 redirect plugins, or recreate a similar page on your site .

Ever notice that people who spend money on WSO, memberships and courses, are always complaining about being broke and not making any money ?

They should have bought ASSETS instead.
