How to start making money (Need some advice)

Hi,

I've been on the forum for a few months, and reading, reading and more reading an trying out a few methods.

I am accepted to PeerFly and 7Search, and I did try some email submits offers, making $55 from $50 so that was quite interesting.

However recently I have become more interested in things such as clickbank and blogging.

I was looking for advice of where to start, I was thinking of doing a blog and writing about IM and perhaps creating an IM clickbank product? I have looked at various people such as John Chow, who I believe gathers leads from his blog and promotes products to it?

I was just after some insight in different things to do surround clickbank? Even if it does take some time to build up.

I have just realised how vague I am above! Basically I was looking
For advice in what to do and what others have been successful in doing?

Many Thanks

I've always believed that writing not only helps you get known, it helps you make your own thoughts clearer. It has certainly done that for me. So I say start a blog! And don't think short term. Think about building a body of information over time. If you put a 1000 words online every day for 3 years, that is 1,000,000 words. As you have a wealth of content, you have so many more ways to make money, and so much more traffic. This post is approaching 100 words, and it took me just a few moments. I try to spend even more time on my own sites adding content.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Definitely start by blogging around a particular niche and build your list. Then, once you have a targeted list, it will be easy to create products and sell them.

Does the particular name matter? Also, would you recommend then blogging just about Internet marketing? Also, I worry about traffic, how can i actually get traffic to a blog?

Finally if a blog was to get large enough, would it become enough to live off of? I mean from things such as advertising and emailing lists?

    Thanks

I would not recommend you blogging about internet marketing and then in the same sentence asking on how to get traffic. Choose a niche other then making money online or internet marketing advice. When you have made some money inside of another niche you can use that experience to talk about internet marketing down the line.

    Hi Wadey.

An alternative would be to buy an established site form Flippa.com and start your own online business from there.
You can buy an website that has customers in place already, or just a website on your niche of choice and start building upon it from there.
Even if you don't buy, you can at least have a look of what kind of websites are making money and start a similar one .

    Hope it helps!

You mean have a look at blogs or businesses, as I'm more interested in blogs and affiliate marketing?

      Thanks

You can check all the websites that were sold in the last month for example. See if any of the respective websites could interest you enough to start your own.
Then try to emulate the website, do what that owner did to make it successful.
It shouldn't be that difficult, but it implies hard work and dedication.

        Best of luck!

Just getting curious about Peerfly. How does it work and how can a person earn from it?

I think you should write about something you specialize in or know a lot about in an eBook and sell it on Clickbank. You can also start writing blogs. A place I know where it will be easy to post blogs is Redgage.com.
