Looking for some advice

Hello Everyone ,this my first post here in warrior forum.Although I joined almost 2 years ago ,I have started using it only few days back.I got interested in IM 2years back and searched all over the internet, but suffered from information overload and also got distracted by lots of other things and ended up joining programmes where you dont have to do anything and you get a percentage on your investment. As usual, these programmes comes and goes so I have not made any real money. So now I want to start it all over again by learning about IM,web designing,SEO,PPC etc .Can you suggest one place where I can get started with the basic.I saw someone in another topic suggested topnewbietraining.com,and it seems good.Should I join here or you guys have some other suggetions.Any type of suggestions are welcome. Thanks

    Don't buy anything !
Just spend sometime reading and focus on doing one thing first ... know what you want to achieve at the end of the day ...

Ever notice that people who spend money on WSO, memberships and courses, are always complaining about being broke and not making any money ?

They should have bought ASSETS instead.

A bit of help in the beginning can help overcome information overload, frustration,..
There is a course called Six Figure Alliance by Kenster which is like a blueprint, action oriented and contains a lot of useful info mainly in the form of videos covering the many facets of IM.

      http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...-alliance.html

I can personally recommend this course.

      Hope this helps.

You need to find a model that works for you. This model is the best:

    1. Find a crowd of people who are interested in a subject and who have a problem they need solving
    2. Offer a solution to those people
3 Build a rapport with those people
    4. Sell them stuff

That's it in a nutshell. Everything else is in the detail.

Basically, to make money you need to offer something, a product or services via your site or merchant's.

Don't jump into buying stuff and signing up for offers that look too good to be true.

Above all, when it comes to making money success do not go to the hardest working man but to the smartest.

Some guidance can be good if you find the right mentor, one who is knowledgeable and knows what they are talking about, but often membership sites and mentors are just a waste of money because the people are clueless, the content is poor or the site stops being updated after a couple of months. So do your research before jumping into anything, a site might 'look good' but it doesn't mean it is good.

It's often best to learn the basics yourself then put them into practice.

There are many sites out there that give you great free IM advice. I learnt alot from Affilorama.com but there are many sites out there. Just search on Google for Internet Marketing advice. I say the best thing to do would be to just dive right into it and learn by trial and error.

    Cheers

  • Evaluate yourself first. It is really important to know what you can offer to the online world before engaging to something without really knowing what you should do. After knowing what you can cater, then think of a way on how you can make money out of it.

There are really a lot internet-money making articles out there. All you need to do is to read them, and know which method will be the most suitable for you.

First of all, I also welcome you here. I have been using this forum more lately again myself. There is a wealth of information here.

I agree with most all of the above advice. I think the main thing I would add is to take your time for at least a few weeks and spend some time on this forum and look it over pretty thoroughly for information before you spend money or join anything. Ask some questions and watch the replies and watch the special offers forums. Make a list of questions and interesting posts and do a little bit of research.

Maybe that helps. I have made the mistake of jumping too soon on some things.

Part of the reason for this is you need to finally land on one thing that suits you and concentrate on it and try not to get distracted from it. Later, you may want to add to it after you have mastered the first thing.

I think I've learned more about IM from reading the warrior forums than from anything else.

There is a gold mine of information just waiting to be found around here.

It's also a great place to start. Reading what others say, what others ask, what others answer etc. etc.

It'll give you an idea of where to go next.

Well my main interest is in affiliate marketing and want to learn about CPA and stuff like that. But I think it will be better for me to learn some skills first because I can then sell my service to someone when I am running short of cash(I dont have a big budget)

    Welcome to the Forum.

My advice is to find a niche that you enjoy that can be monitized.

BUILD A LIST. I avoided doing this I didn't see it as fun. Well now
as the profits roll in it is fun cashing the checks.

Good Luck and never give up.

He jumped on his horse and rode off in six different directions!! Take time to get clear on what it is you want to do on the Internet. Make a list. Write it out. Why do you want it. Is it fun, is it profitable, is it time consuming, etc .Put everything on the list then grade the list. Put reasons for and against each entry. The right one for you should show up in due course.

Hi. You dont need to buy things.
No need to hurry in the things you are not so sure. You must 'Research' first to know what you like or not, research also the steps you want to do (how you will do this, what can you do about this, why are you doing this), know more about the strategies you want to use for you to success in a short period of time.

You dont need a mentor or any product. Mentor is just a waste of money and there's a possibility that the mentor will disappear like bubbles. As much as you can, work on your own, just ask if you dont know, but, DECIDE intelligently and smartly. Think things that might interest you.
