You may need to start contributing in the forums freely, answer their threads,
provide great responses which help answer the questions asked by OPs...

This will help you gain trust and authority in those forums, then you can add
your site in the allowed signature space, and the more you contribute , more trust
you gain, more people will click to checkout your product advertised in the signatures,
they may not allow sig in the start, but you have to prove them in the main forum,
that you are real, by answering real threads, without advertising your product before,
they even consider your product.

Above was free route, there is another option also, there maybe some paid options,
on those forums, like Forum Ad spots you can buy, or run special offers like WSO here,
you may post your paid adv there.

That post hit the nail on the head, see this is why you come to the forum for responses like that. You could also try running a fitness blog and post daily some health and fitness tips that anyone can do, add a little section for recipes too, they are searched for incredibly often. I started a fitness site in July of last year did about a fortnights work on it before being distracted by something else and haven't gone back to it yet. The autoresponder has had over 50signups and the site averages about 75 hits per month and I've done nothing to it other than about 20 pages of content including recipes and the body's make up of muscles. Ive probably added about 12 blog posts on it too. I know it will take off with more work when I get chance.

Keep at it, don't give up. Build relationships, build trust and curiosity will get people to check your product out. It's a natural occurrence.

The best way to market an ebook, in my opinion is to first have a plan. A proven plan! From what you have already done and from the questions you asked I know for certain that you do not have a proven plan.

A proven plan does not entail marketing your ebook in forums without the owner's permission. Whoever or whatever told you to peddle your wares in any market place without a plan has put you at a huge disadvantage.

The forums that "booted you" may have already labeled you as a SPAMMER. That is a big disadvantage in the online marketing industry.

Before you do anything I would suggest that you take a good product creation course that includes marketing the product. A few of the really good product creators with either courses, ebooks, etc. may pop into this thread. You may also want to check this forum's review section.
