From quiting to striving

Okay guys you can view my thread about quiting. This is basically a follow up. Well after I read all what the warriors told me I was inspired and began to work I must say it was frustrating and hard because I was a newbie but am getting there. Anyways the site I had before if you seen it was very crappy. It was messed up and about all different topics and all. Anyways I have my new site here and I'm still working on it but tell me what you think so far. Does it have potential to start making money? Also one thing I can't do is get the Home page to work. Like I wanna write something on the homepage but when you go to my site it goes straight to the contact us page. Anyone know how to fix that?

Thanks

Just added my product and I have my auto responder messages ready I'm about to add it to my site.

    That's a pretty cool theme.

Assuming you have created a "homepage...

Go into your wp-admin, and look under "Settings", then click "reading".

Now in "Front Page displays" you want to click the selection for "A Static page", then in the dropdown you want to select your homepage.

Click the save changes button, then you're done

You'll have to create a "home page"... as a "Page" and not a "post". Once you create that page you'll see it in the dropdown, and you'll be able to set it as your "home".

If your homepage is a "post", then you'll have to change the date on it so that it will always be the newest post.

I had that same problem when I started. I created a "post" instead of a "page" as my "homepage", so I had to modify the date on it so that it will always be the newest post. So whenever I added a new post I'd have to go into my "homepage post" and change the date.

I hope that makes sense... let me know if you need more help.

Persistence pays in this business. Sometimes it can seem like you work endless hours and get ZERO results - but all of that work is accumulating and gaining strength.

No one ever got ripped muscles overnight :-) No one ever "got rich" over night on the internet. Keep at it - you'll be a happy camper soon.
