How would you promote a clickbank product offline?

Hi. The title says it all. I know there are alot of ways of promoting clickbank products online, by writing articles, review sites, youtube videos, facebooks ads, ppc, ppv, landing pages, building a list and so on.

But lets say you wanted to go offline to do direct marketing. What would be your plan?

Has anyone in here had any success promoting clickbank products offline?

If you have, can you please give me some tips and advice.

Thank you

The way I've done some of that is by article marketing (magazines, newsletters, newspapers). That can certainly be very successful, but it isn't easy.

The other main ways I've thought about (but not tried) are with print media classified advertising, "drop-cards", loose insert advertising in targeted magazines, and leaflet-distribution.

    Hi Ray

You could try putting up some postcards in your local area, keep your message brief and have a strong call to action

In the UK in some stores you can get a spot in the stores front window for round £0.50/$.70 per week.

If you have some money to use, get some leaflets made and have them delivered, pay the paperboy/girl a few extra bucks to take it for you.

try an advert in a local newspaper or magazine

Have a bumper sticker made up, or add a web address on a t-shirt that you wear a lot

think about the adverts that are currently running in your area...if someone is advertising a lot, then it usually means they are making some money.

hope these help and let us know how you get on

    cheers
    Steve

Not sure I follow you here, but I'll give a go...

Presuming that you are still driving traffic to an online squeeze page, or to a sales page, you could do this in a number of ways. Place an ad in the work-from-home section of any major newspaper, and offer a compelling reason for them to either optin or drive them to a video tutorial page cloaked with your aff hoplink.

Same goes for brochures, flyers, even vehicles with their website info are theoretically capable of getting raw hits, if done correctly. Hell, I want plaster ads on billboards, but probably couldn't afford to test that option, lol.

The reality is, in order to actually make this theory viable, you would need to 'attach' your hop to each response, thus, would almost have to use a squeeze page or a landing page with a button cloaked with your hoplink.

Reminds me, last week I got hammered for $12 on (3) boxes of girl scout cookies (Tag-a-longs...mmm) after being approached by the cutest 'never take no for an answer' six year old (future marketing guru) in pigtails, lol.

Can it be done, sure. You'd still need an online facilitator (website, blog, free page...) to get your prospective buyer 'tracked' to your sales.
