Here are two free classified sites:

    ClassifiedAds.com

    TheFreeAdForum.com

Many of the other free ad sites are not worth your time.

Backpage and Craigslist get me the most traffic

Try USFreeAds and OLX dot com too

Also, try Pennysavers, Shoppers, & More Weeklies (paid offline classified ads).

    Good luck

I use Gumtree and get a lot of responses from there but I think that will vary depending on what country you are from.

Really depends on your prices and what you are offering. If I post a couple of times a week. I can normally sell 1 website design a week. I also get referral commission for hosting. Price your services just right and you will get as much work as you want. Overprice it and you may be lucky to get 1 sell a month if that.

It is hard to use Craigslist today because they made so many restrictions. I rather go with classifiedads.com, topclassifieds.com., classifiedsforfree.com

It seems that some of the classifieds mentioned in this thread pertains more to selling tangible items such as boats, furniture, etc. What I'm looking for are the ones that pertains to internet marketing in particular.

    Thanks again!

No, not really. As far as I know, only amateurs and spammers waste their time on classifieds. If you're offering services then that's one thing, but it seems like most people are trying to market products and MLM schemes on classifieds...and that's just not cool.

Can't say for myself since I'm not a designer. However, I have a handful of friends that ARE designers and they DON'T bother with classifieds.

No, and my advice would be to avoid the use of them...especially if you're trying to promote a product or biz opp.

PS. I'm talking about online classifieds here. It might be a different experience with newspaper classifieds...but I wouldn't count on it.

Only amateurs and spammers do that shit.

Well, I don't use classified sites anymore, because they've never worked for me. But if I did, it would probably be Backpage. The reason is that you can post in as many cities as you want, whereas it's hard to get away with that on Craigslist.

The top two are Craigslist.org and Backpage.com. The negative side about them is that you will need to renew your ads, otherwise they will be removed. But, still you get to post free ads.
