Best books on different internet marketing stuff for newbies

I posted a couple weeks ago abouit diffferent techniques and such. I am brand new to this and have never made a dime at it.

Alot of time I can read these threads and will be lost as to what the topic is so I figured the best way for me to at least get the basics is to go to some libraries and check some general books out.

With that said, what would you guys recomend. I need to learn how to build web pages, learn about clickbank, different niches, SEO, etc.

I searched for different books and really don't want to buy one. But I know on these subjects, books can quickly get outdated. I have read different amazon reviews on books and that is what the general consensus seems to be.

I was looking at the "complete idiots guide" selection of different things.

But looking for some recomendations on general books to help me get my feet wet. Nothing advances....yet. Just a simple general guide on how to get me up and running. As I make a couple bucks, then I can at least be able to fill in the holes on my own then. Thanks

    Don't waste your money on expensive ebooks or courses. This book is a gazillion times better than any ebook or internet course I've ever bought for newbies:

    March 2009 so 100% current and 936 pages! Buy it, hide away for a week and read it from cover to cover.

    OK, thanks. That is 1 I remeber looking at.

    I don't have alot of money to spend anyway. But with that book, I can learn the basics of making monery and then gradually expand my knowledge right?

      If you haven't made a dime then I would suggest that you have a look at Travis Sago's Bum Marketing Course. After you read it you will be pumped up to take action.

      It was what I used to make my first sale online.

      Yeah but that is my problem. Even when reading around here I get lost in the verbage that people use as I am not sure what alot of it means that is why I am looking at some overall general basic info.

      Does that orginal 8 course dummy marketing book cover how to make basic html pages and more?

    A former friend of mine who wants me to get in on a pyramid with him said I should read that book alonmg with rich dad poor dad.

    I have never read them. Was it all a bunch of fluff or something?
