4 Free Ways To Generate Niche Ideas
I've been lurking here for the longest time absorbing content and learning techniques which I've begun using to create a few niche sites here and there. Now it's time for me to begin giving back to this awesome community.
So here are a few tools and techniques you can use to generate keyword ideas and find niches RIGHT NOW:
1) IWantToLearn
This reddit community shows what people WANT to learn. Browse through some of the listings and you'll find out exactly what pain points people face while learning particular skills. Create or hire someone to create content for these pain points and you have a useful website on your hands.
2) Random Reddit -
Again on Reddit, you have the "Random" button on the top bar which takes you to any of the thousands of sub-reddits (Communities) each about a different topic. Once again, click it a few times and see the type of problems, passions and hobbies (niches you can target!) that people have. You can gauge the popularity of each topic by checking the subscribers on the right side of the front page of each sub-reddit.
3) List of Hobbies
This Wikipedia page has a bucket list of over 190 hobbies. This can be your starting point to dig in deeper into the (potentially) thousands of niches that can be uncovered from this single page.
4) Zeitgeist
This is an old hat technique that I'm sure most Warriors would know, but for those who don't know, 43things is a place where users list out their goals and try to achieve them. This page in particular shows the most popular posts of the day as well as all time. Lots of great ideas to be had from here.
Not the most comprehensive list, but it's the best I know from all the free sources out there.
I hope I have helped at least "one" person out here.
And if you've read it till here - Thanks.
