My traffic is soaring!!

Hi Warriors,

I have not been really working too much on my website, but my traffic is soaring. I am getting 500-600 visitors per day. I am using Adsense to monetize my blog. ( I am also building a list, but still not sure how to tactfully soft sell to my subscribers, a skill I need to learn)

Anyways, other than adsense, what can I do monetize with this kind traffic. Should I apply for buysellads? What are some other income streams I can use.

Stick a couple of banners up that redirect to a service, product etc using your affiliate link.

are you suggesting affiliate banner ads. I have one in the sidebar. I was told they dont convert well, but I put one for trial on my sidebar.
The general verdict is build a list and sell affiliate to your subscribers. I dont have too many subscribers right now plus, I dont know how to build relationship and all to pre-sell

Depending on your niche, you could check out some CPA offers.

Also Amazon's Associate program works good.

Can you please explain more about what CPA offers are. I know about Amazon Associates program. I put a carousal in few of my blog posts, but it is not converting.

Check out Jason Parker's "Sales Eruption Method"for emailing. I think it's on his Facebook page, but may be on the WF... its low cost, and in an hour you'll know exactly how to email your list for relationship building and pre-selling.

Look for CPA offers to send your list is a good idea. Or other affiliate products like from Clickbank, (which require no network approval), etc.

You can swap with other list owners too, just review their links/funnels before hand to make sure it's a good fit for your list. Swaps can be found on WF. Look for your niche.

Remember, they got on your list because they wanted something - they are waiting for you to offer them more of the same, so put it in front of them.

It doesn't hurt to email them a few freebies as well as paid offers.

Also you can write some follow-up emails with links in them so it's all on auto-pilot. Write like 7 of those and keep learning from there.

Track and review your emails so you know what's getting the best response. Same with offers. When you know what works really well, scale that traffic!

oksy your not going to like what I say if the site your talking about is 5 simple steps to permanent fat loss | Fat2FitSteps.com, I can assure you two things, your list will not grow as much as it can, the bounce rate will be sky high, the content is water thin.

f2f shop has nothing to do with the target market.

first thing I would do is build up the content give people something worth reading.

Get a decent theme and a new header. Current ones make your site look cheap and spammy.

With that much traffic ( lucky you!) you should capture your leads into a form, offer something free related to your niche, then soft sell them in you emails.

        I can't recommend a free theme because I don't do free themes.

None of them are flexible enough for me. Premium or custom all the way.

Don't skimp on this sort of thing if you want to make a go of this as being cheap doesn't pay when it comes to IM.

Your theme and header are the first thing people see when they land on your site and first impressions are golden.

Currently your site looks cheap and spammy so most people won't even hang around to check out your content hence the atrocious 80% bounce rate.

First find out where the bulk of this traffic is coming from. Then go from there... you can't monetize junk traffic. Your adsense income should give you a good idea of the quality of traffic that you're receiving on a daily basis.

I see that most of my traffic is coming from Google. I am assuming that is adsense income is high, ppl are just clicking on ads and leaving. if adsense income is low, ppl are sticking in more. 80% bounce rate may also explain that. Anyways the point is I am getting traffic. My CTR on ads is 3-5%

Personally I like the site. It's obvious it's a real person. The header has some nice work in it, and I like the colors of the site. It doesn't have a lot of material but that will come with time. It's a very nice start.

Traffic may be soaring now, but don't expect that to be consistent. It's common for new sites to dance around in the search results. It might take months for things to steady out.

My first site had 7 pages and I didn't see how it could ever have more, but now it's up to about 50 pages. You find more things to write about.

Cost Per Action. You get paid when someone completes a specific action, like opting in or downloading a free trial software. Even if the visitor never buys anything, you still get paid.

His website has a non existent conversion rate, isn't making any money and 80% of people who visit leave immediately because they don't like it.

If you are referring to his visitor numbers then it's meaningless. You can have all the traffic in the world but if it doesn't convert or leaves immediately it's worthless.

Your opt-in form also needs to be higher up and more prominent, preferably above the fold.

Change the call to action above the book cover to say "Get my FREE ebook NOW". Delete the text and arrow below the book cover (the book cover says what it's about!). This should help with optins. Then follow up with the emails through your autoresponder as others have said above.

There are tons of fitness-related products that you could sell as an affiliate.

You could sell products like food supplements from Amazon.com, or weight loss guides from Clickbank.com.

Try as hard as you can to increase email optins as much as possible. Traffic comes and goes but an email list lasts a long time. Don't worry about soft selling, people don't mind direct selling if the products are quality.

You can place banner ads of brands or people who wanted their ads to be on your website and ask them to pay you for placing those ads on your website.

    Add more content.

18,000 visitors per month is still a drop in the ocean (in a good niche with profitable keywords it's pretty good but it can get better).

Keep doing what you're doing which is adding content.

When the visitors come and increase then you can worry what to do with them.

For now it's all about getting continuous large amount of traffic.

In the mean time learn what you can do with that traffic. Analyze your competitors, see what they're doing.

But bear in mind how much more traffic you could have if you continue to do what you're already doing.

    Good luck.

I think maybe you should sign up for Clickbank.com and then promote a couple weight loss programs under recommended products on your site. There are also some diet products for garcinia cambogia on peerfly and maxbounty atm which you could also probably sell there. Do a little review / write up for each and redirect to offer / landing page. Also if your Amazon ebook section isn't making you that much money you can sign up for a content locker network like adwork media and find some free ebooks on the internet and offer those to your visitors. You would get paid each time someone went to download a book. They would just have to submit email for a free iphone or do a survey or something. Just some ideas. The theme is fine. Try and remove the cyberchimp logo if you can. If you want I can send you my paid copy of one of the cyber chips themes I am not using anymore. That would take care of it and keep the site mostly the same. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I can get you a recommendation link for the networks I mentioned as well if you are interested. Hope I helped.

Offer real value to your subscribers list, allow them to trust you let them see your face ie; video.

Or even better;make a video training course, but cutting it short then saying "if you want to learn more about this method *insert affiliate link here* works for my non-buyers lists and will work for yours as well.
