Membership Site Question

I'm in the process of setting up my first membership site where I will deliver a video training course in my niche.

I bought OptimizePress yesterday and am satisfied with it so far EXCEPT that I need a way to protect my video content (by giving access only to those who paid for it through a membership site.) OptimizePress has tutorials on how to integrate with Digital Access Pass, Nanacast, Wishlist Member, and S2Member... but that's more money to spend that may be unnecessary because I already have Premise (by Copyblogger.)

My question is, can Premise and OptimizePress work together to create a membership site, or will I have to purchase something like DAP for another 200 bucks? All I want to do is protect the content on the site.

in my opinion i would stick to either DAP or wishlist, these both have very good reviews and work very well

I currently use optimize press as well with fast member but will be changing over to either wishlist or DAP in the next few weeks

S2member has a free version that works great! I'm using it myself.

      You can download it here.

Thanks for the comment. If I can't find a free solution I'll most likely go with DAP, as I've heard many good things about it.

Thanks for the info and the link. What's the difference between the free version and the paid version though? Basically, am I severely limited if I only used the free version, or is it enough to protect my content (which is all I need)?

It is definitely enough to protect your content. There are a few differences like the free version allows 4 membership levels, the pro version unlimited.

You can find all the differences here.

I can also vouch for s2member. I'm using the free version and it works great.

The main difference between the free and paid version is that the paid version allows you to do payment processing without leaving your site. The free version directs your buyer to paypal to make the purchase.

The other difference, as was mentioned, is the number of membership levels. Free gets you 4 levels and paid gets you infinite levels.

These two things are not something I really need, so the free version works great! It's fully functional besides that.

I would suggest DAP or Wishlist (i use them both)

I think DAP is easier to setup, when you are starting out!
But to be honest, i havent touched Wishlist that much the last couple of months, so i dont know what changes they have had

If you are worried by the money outlay, get the S2 Member Free version, it works perfectly well, the pro version just has a few more bells and whistles-S2Member integrates beautifully with OptimizePress, I use wishlist, which at 97 bucks is a good buy because you can use it on unlimited sites. Go for the S2 Member...
