Many people build accounts with BS followers. So what good does it do to pay someone to Tweet to these accounts? You are better off approaching top people in your niche by locating them yourself on Twitter and asking to pay them like 20 bucks to do this for you. Many of the top niche folks will usually do so if you ask nicely and comment that you love their page. I think this is money better spent IMO.

This is what I was looking for. Thanks. Yeah I've never really used fiverr and I decided to just see what it's all about. And I see all these people advertising their tweets and what not cause they have a lot of "followers." But for $5? Give me a break.

I've never considered using such tactics for my ongoing marketing campaign. From my own personal experience there is no such thing as a free lunch. I highly doubt the majority of those facebook friends that person is offering to mail your offer to, is legit. Think about it...thousands of real people views all targeted and ready to buy? I'd think twice. Good luck!

As someone who's sold Twitter posts, and someone who buys them (I just bought $35 worth of ads to promote my new book) - I can say that there's definitely some legit posters.

The trick is, finding them.

Engage in due diligence before you buy anything.

I agree - there are some good ones, but it's hard to find them.

I typically ask the seller some questions before I order. The honest ones will tell you up front if they have real followers, if they're active and what their interests are.

If they skate around my questions and try to push me to buy anyway, I move on to another seller.

I've tried about 3 of these on Fiverr with dismal results. A lot of these sellers have fake followers and they tweet a new one every few hours so their followers just get spammed with offers and the tweet you bought just gets lost in a sea of others.

You can also buy tweets on buysellads.com from popular bloggers / celebs / etc. I've done this twice (about $40 bucks each). Also dismal results.

I don't think there's any value in these.

Fiverr is great for some things like having a video made for you but not good for others like getting traffic / link building. Just my 2 cents.

It's very easy to fake how many followers you have. You're best bet is going to be to go through all the reviews and look for people who mention the CTR or conversion rate.

I dont think placing your ad in front of untargeted audience no matter how many they are in number helps. Just settle for other methods that would help you find the right audience.

I know someone who bought 3k FB likes.
No problem, but within a week, more than 300 had unliked him and his stats were all screwed up.
Or FB sussed they were bots and deleted them - who knows?

I don't think these followers would be targeted to your niche, and you know how useless un-targeted traffic can be.

If they had really built up niche targeted followers, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want to sell it for $5. These services are usually fake. Don't believe it when they say they are real followers; common sense says that's not possible for that price.

Moreover, there are a lot of fake accounts on twitter, so again, even if they THINK they are real followers, they may very well not be.

So yeah, you are better off building your own following.

A lot of these gigs are not even worth $5...I tend to use Fiverr for different reasons but I wouldn't trust the Twitter gigs as there is no telling if your message is being seen by "real" people...

Even if their Twitter followers are human beings, they may completely ignore your link because they are not interested on what you have to offer. The same happens with the seller’s Facebook friends.

Another silly investment is to pay $5 to have your website listed at someone’s directory.

You won't get traffic this way.

As for Facebook, I could care less how many "likes" a page has - that is SO easy to manipulate and inflate with bots and OTHER Fiverr gigs. What I'd want to know is what is their "people are talking about this" number in relation to their page likes. THAT'S where you get your bang for your buck.

I've been doing a lot with Facebook. Now, going the "organic" route and really working to get Likes isn't that hard - just takes patience. But getting that group interacting with your posts is another story.

My newest page I'm working on just broke 2k "likes" (it's only a week or 2 old).

But under my page name it says:

2,044 likes - 1,962 talking about this.

Now that is the kind of page I'd pay someone to post for me onto. If I post on that page, those people react - they like and share and comment....and most importantly, they follow the link I give them.

I don't believe you can find that on Fiverr.

Just my 2.5 cents =)

I don't think a reputable person with a large REAL following would spam his/her
followers in such a way. Just imagine how many tweets a Fiverr seller would send
out on the average day, for such a gig.

Surely any TRUE followers would probably unfollow as a result of getting tons of
"suggestions" from various sources, not to mention frequent unrelated content.

To make a long story short, a legit seller wouldn't sacrifice his/her true social contacts
to make a few Fiverr bucks. At least I hope not.

  I try to study the feedback on fiverr and see if there are comments regarding success of the gig. Most of the feedback comments are about how the seller performed the task on time or gave a good report. However, what matters is whether or not the gig itself has brought in genuine traffic.
