Would it be a good idea to ask members here if my website idea is a good idea, or would I be risking the idea to be stolen?

Its like asking a girl if she would tell the secret to somebody if you tell her. Off course you'll risking the idea to be stolen but I've always seen honest reviews by the warriors but If you can do it better on your side, you must not worry if its stolen as your're the creator.

    Good luck!

there are some reliable and trustworthy warriors here. If you're really worried that the great idea would be stolen then why not a PM to them? I am sure they'll help.

If it's a great idea, there's always the chance that someone could steal it once you've launched. Many online businesses have low barriers to entry, so it's something that you're often risking when you work in this way. So I personally wouldn't worry too much.. Having a good idea is one thing, but putting it into action is another

If you're willing to put in the hard work to see it through to completion, you're already ahead of most people!

    - check in Google how many sites offer this kind of service.
    - how do you imagine to hide your site from public? Sooner or later every visitor can see your site.

If the idea is really good, it could be stolen. Sometimes, you'll get even smarter ideas by asking experienced people. If you're afraid it could be stolen, then post parts of it if possible. You'll attract the attention of people who could really help. Then you can finish up with experienced people you attract through private messaging.

These days competition in all sectors is deadly hard. Good idea is worth not always a lot, because you need Sisyphus work to beat monster competitors. Every investment is a big risk.

Why not ask a warrior that you trust? Once you go live with the site someone will probably copy you anyway, it's the nature of the internet!

I don't personally know anyone here. I've asked friends IRL about it and most said it has potential. I would like an opinion from someone more advanced in terms of this industry.

I'm currently developing it, but I know if the idea is good enough, I'll need to work with others.

I wish you well with your idea.

I understand your worries about telling people about it yet.

As already said there must be people you trust you can discuss your idea with.

I wouldn't share my idea with nobody. The warriors may be trustworthy, but on this forum there is an average of 20k online people. So maybe they will steal it. Trust no one.

If you have to ask then its probably not a good idea.

If your mad right now that I said its probably not a good idea because you just 'know it is' .. do it anyway and then send me a PM after it becomes successful and brag that I dont know what the ___ Im talking about.

Either way you win .. and maby I get to hear a success story.

I mean, I know the idea is good, but it's more the required amount of work will be large, and no matter how good an idea is, there is a chance it won't work out.

If you know it's good - just work it until it works. If your first approach doesn't work - just keep adding and changing directions with the core subject until you hit the method that does. In a world where sticking a rock in a box and giving it feeding instructions can make you millions - you'll eventually hit a method to get your product/service to go.

Well you are afraid it to be stolen but do not forget that You will always have a first move advantage so you are more likely to win the competition.
