Hi Guys

I partnered up with a corporate speaker. Over the last 10 years he has build a big database of over 50000 clients. Unfortunately, has has it in spreadsheet.

We are planning to organise seminars together and we are looking for a way to blast to the whole list.

Would you be able to recommend any software (email, crm) that would allow to upload the list from spreadsheet and blast to it?

Big thanks in advance.

Marcin

I recommend going for a self-hosted solution in combination with cloud based email sending services like amazon s3, sendgrid or mailjet. The autoresponder I'd use is ARPReach and it has a stack of sophistication for list segmentation and management. This combination will get you very good deliverability rates.

The only reputable 3rd party provider that allows importing of emails is iContact. I don't think they'll allow that many, though.

The only other way is to use ARPReach or Interspire in conjunction with SMTP, Sendgrid or some other SMTP provider as mentioned above.

for this list i would say go for - sendy + Amazon SES.. Sendy is a self hosted script (59$ one time) and Amazon SES costs pretty low (check their pricing).

Before you start blasting, make sure you follow all the recommendations like DKIM SPF and so on... Reading bulk sender guidelines from Gmail will help as well. I am using it for my own and works quite well.

    Good luck.

I've found the folks at MailChimp to be some of the best I've worked with. Sure, you can host your own, but if you're looking for access to a sleek interface and user experience, easy importing of contacts, and outstanding support, MailChimp delivers. They take care of their clients-- so much so that they sent me a free MailChimp t-shirt out of the blue haha.

The best thing is their online support system. A lot of companies offer chat support; MailChimp's reps are always available and very knowledgeable about the product and the challenges that email marketers face.

Obviously the most important thing is providing a dynamic product regardless of the service that you choose to go with-- which reminds me of a helpful guide my company put together a while back. But a great email CRM goes a long way toward that goal.

¿Have you looked at Zoho Apps? It's very complete and you can build web apps and I'm pretty sure you can import the spreadsheet.
