Stages Of Selling a Niche Ebook?

Hopefully you've chosen an actual niche within the health market.

Here are some next steps:

Simple version:

1) Research the market to find what others are doing to sell similar ebooks.

2) Setup a site like theirs with Aweber or Get Response integrated to build a list. Just search through WF to find "squeeze page templates"... or go buy "Optimize Press".

3) Find out where are the buyers hang out and plan to get that traffic to your site or squeeze page. Go to The Copywriting sub-forum and learn some basics on writing sales pages and follow up emails. Based on the kind of traffic, write a sales page and then get someone on Warriors for Hire to make it great.

4) Study free and paid traffic posts here on the WF and try them all as much as your budget will allow until you find the sources that bring in lots of subscribers to your list and sales... and focus on those traffic methods.

Maybe pick up a WSO on selling your own products... It's cheap accelerated training. Just read the reviews and see the amount of people who commented on the WSO sales page to see if people like it and are having success with it.

What I do when I launch ebooks is I have 4 main pages:

1. Sales page - a single-purpose page to sell your ebook that contains either text and/or video + testimonials and your offer

2. Squeeze page - I create a separate page dedicated to generating leads from "cold" traffic...I often use OptimizePress to develop the squeeze page

3. Blog...I also create and post daily to a blog in the niche market, this can be a separate domain entirely or another directory off of your main domain

4. Thank you pages - one targeted at subscribers who sign up from your squeeze page/opt-in forms on your blog and one for those who have purchased your product

In addition, you will want to have the standard FCC oriented pages and most likely an affiliate information page (how to sign up, affiliate tools, etc...)

In terms of email - yes, you will need an autoresponder. We use a combination of Aweber and 1 Shoppingcart

In terms of themes that you can use to setup your sales letters, squeeze pages, blog pages, etc... I would favor Optimizepress and be done with it - get on to getting your pages up and making money!

For your e-book I would use a sales page. This can sell your product really well. Put it on clickbank.com and gather as many affiliates as you can.

The best software for building a list is aweber. Without a doubt.

With sales letters. Have an emphasis on benefits. You can also outsource your sales page for a few hundred dollars.

Congrats on your first product! You'll need to set up a squeeze page/landing page (same thing), a sales page, thank-you pages (where users download content) and upsell pages if you want.

The report was made for promoting affiliate products but it will work all the same if you're promoting your own ebook.

Oh, you will also need an exit pop-up. Will give you a pretty significant bump in conversions, your exit pop should go to a downsell offer or your squeeze page
