Video SpokesModel vs. Animated Video ???

I'm in the process of building a video sqeeze page, following that would be the full video presentation. It's for a business sales presentation so it's semi serious. But I'm on a budget, it's a bit difficult to find videospokes models who will do all 4 of my short videos for cheap. I'm still considering it but I was thinking of perhaps trying an Animated video instead. Mainly because I could do it myself. I'm not sure if I'd be wasting my time with that or not. Like I've found a few actors who would do my video but they don't have a set so they're videos look so amaturish. It's like a home movie recorded on a web cam shot in a bedroom. It basically looses all the professionalism. So again I was thinking maybe a video would at least be catchy and people might spend time to watch it, plus it likely wouldn't spoil my first impression as the animations are more popular these days.

So what do you think I should do???

Video SpokesModel vs. Animated Video ???

As a buyer, I'd prefer a spokesperson for sure! As a marketer, I have no experience and cannot say which converts best.

You can get a spokesperson easily on Fiverr for like $20, if you want them to dress in a suit and record in a white/green background.

Video animation is much better since the viewer is more focused on the ideas you bring to the table.

If you're on a budget, go for the animated option. You're right in thinking that an amateurish spokesperson video would put people off. Just make sure you have good images and a professional sounding voice-over.

I would refer Video Spokesmodel because it can bring a more personalized touch to your web business.

Video spokes model is the best and converts well. However, if you say you're on a tight budget then animated videos are alright too as long as they're catchy because that's what everything is about. It should attract the reader's attention.

If you want to explain your product and service effectively and want your visitors to deeply understand about your business, then you should definitely go for Animated Videos. Even better to go for Whiteboard Doodle Explainer Videos.

Yeah. Come to think of it. If your videos are animated and you are good on creating them, then you have more control on what it would portray to your site visitors.

The first impression is very important. A visitor will drop off if something is of low quality.. Try to make your video as neat as possible to let your visitors to stay and watch. Animated video is very popular and not so difficult to get done. So, knowing of a budget shortage, animated video is a solution. May indeed think of a professional voiceover. Fivver will help you here.

I also think that the solution of the animated video is the best thing ... do even simple, but of good quality, has to hit the visitor, works with your imagination

If money is tight, nothing wrong with an animated video - it won't hurt you.

Both are going to achieve the same goal of educating your customer in an entertaining way, and telling them why your product is valuable.

I've split-tested talking head pieces vs. animated doodles and PowerPoint-style VSLs... and gotten totally different results every time... for every campaign.

Nobody... and I mean NOBODY can answer your question, because there are WAY too many variables, like the copy, WHO does the face-to-cam work... and the quality of post-production.

Likewise, a doodle could win, but if say... the voiceover sucks, it can damage good copy and illustrations... making it likely tank.

And the market, niche and your ideal audience might prefer one to the other. Again, you have to test. And since you're on a budget, I'd start with something simple, like a PowerPoint video. Download EasyVSL for $47. Start there.

I personally hate the video spokesperson - yet - despite that, I've had colleagues see a tremendous uplift in lead conversion. Which goes to prove that I/we sometimes need to take our own personal feelings out of these and measure, measure and measure.

    In my personal opinion,

    Do neither.

Just get in front of the camera and speak from your heart. Nobody will be as passionate about your product as you are.

Animated videos are very popular nowadays, so that would be my choice. If done professionally, they are interesting to watch, convey a lot of information in a easy to understand manner and will probably be cheaper to develop compared to hiring a spokesperson.
