Where to find a mentor?

Hi All,

I'm wanting to get into online either affiliate marketing or niche websites and have read a lot in this forum about mentors being really valuable so was wondering where is the best place to find one?

I'm a new university student and would really like to do some work to raise some funds to help support my studies. This forum is so helpful and full of information so I guessed that someone may also know where to look for a possible mentor.

Even someone who has been doing this for a while or who has had recent success that can give me some tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for any help!
Sam

You can find mentors and coaches right here on WF. Do a search in the warriors special offers forum for "coaching" or "mentor" Some good options there all with trusted reviews from fellow WF members. Expect to pay well for a good coach, but the right coach will be worth 10 times what you pay in terms of how fast you get on track and start pulling in profit and building a long term business for your self.

Mentors can only help you if you are willing to help yourself.

Thus, find the niche you are passionate about and build a website.. and get it to make money. There is nothing quite like making money from doing.

Thankyou both, useful advice. Shall definitely check out that forum and see whats on offer. Also I know I do need to make the leap and actually trial something out for myself. I just never feel like I'm ready..

Actually no one feels that he/she is ready before anything. Just ACT. You can find many good mentors through WSO's but do your research before selecting one.

        • There are lot of mentors on WF. From the main menu under search use advanced search and type mentor with "Warrior Special Offers Forum" selected.

Besides the mentor fees, you might have to pay for additional tools and services your mentor recommends. You might want to ask upfront the total cost associated with the training before signing up.

          Good luck

This is what you should do in a nutshell. Find a niche that you are very passionate about and consider yourself knowledgable in, build a website offering value to your site visitors and get people inside your niche viewing you as an authority, build a list and then begin to sell either your own products or affiliate products.

Making money online is very simple. Not easy, but simple.

You said "You never feel like you're ready."

You want to be spending 80% of the time on action and 20% on learning.

Develop the right mindset - there's loads of stuff on that like Tony Robbins, Les Brown, Jim Rohn all free on Youtube. I regard them as mentors.

You don't want to be stuck in training mode, it's the action that gets results and it's okay to mess up.

Nothing has to be perfect and the best way to learn is to try something and totally screw it up. As long as you learn from it.

Find the top earners in the niche you are going for and get on their email lists. You can learn a load from them this way. Then just model what they do. Model, don't copy exactly!

    All the best.

There are so many mentors and coaches here on WF, if you are indeed serious about getting mentored or coached. For some reason, I think there are so many students who find some success with various coaching programs here.

You need to know what you want to do and then start reading threads and grab free info so you have an idea if it is really what you want.
A mentor won't do the work for you so you need to know what you're doing (at least a bit) before a mentor will take you on.

Apart from right here on the forum there are some great facebook groups (most of them set up by WF members). You should be able to find one that fits your requirements.

A lot of good ideas here. There are a lot of mentors here in WF as well as in other related forums. I also suggest you start reading blogs in affiliate marketing. BUT make sure that you start experimenting and practicing the things you learned from these blogs and forums. Experience is the best teacher.

A number of places provide great mentors. You can find them here in the warrior forum, online at some of the top blogs or in many other places. It's about finding the right person for you because not all mentors fit with everybody.
