Afternic has agreed to be acquired by GoDaddy

According to a mail that i received today i came to know that Afternic has agreed to be acquired by GoDaddy. What do you think about this ? Is it a good move for the domainers or we are going to lose a good marketplace i.e. Afternic which is well known for having serious buyers.

I think GoDaddy will let it work as its own, like the EIG brands.

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

Godaddy is worse hosting provider. I have terrible experience with them. Now, they have acquired afternic, i wont even touch it from ten foot pole.

Well, I haven't used Afternic for a couple of years, but I'd be far less inclined to use it now.
