1000's of PLR articles - Now what ?

Hey warriors,

Im after some advice and suggestions please.

I have come into 1000 or so plr articles related predominantly to the i.m niche.

Im planning on using them as both blog posts and submitting to article directories. Im concerned firstly with duplicate content issues. What I really want to do is find someone (freelancer) or software to take them apart and make them unique to me. I also dont want it to cost the earth.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Scott Allan

Rewrite them to at least 50% then go wild - that's a ton of content that will work very well for you

        Hey Scott,

I understand that rewriting seems like a hassle, but if they are fairly decent articles, you shouldn't be spending longer than 5-10 minutes re-writing them. You could probably speed your way through about 30 or 40 a day and still have time to do other stuff.

If you want to hire a freelancer, you have people here at WF, getafreelancer, etc. If you are looking for the cheapest route, Digitalpoint have re-writers who only charge about $1 per article. If you offer bulk work to about 3 or 4 writers, you may get it done even cheaper.

The reason i am more biased to doing it yourself is because you will have to check over the re-writes anyway and if the quality isn't great, you will have to spend 5 minutes touching them up.

As for software, you could try Dragon Naturally Speaing. I have never used it myself, but i think Omar Neg%!!$ (Sorry Omar i can't remember your surname!!) has a thread here @ WF about it. You could basically read about 10 of your PLR articles, take some notes and then just start speaking. The software will do the writing for you.

If you are looking to submit to EZA then you must beware of any hint of PLR. EZA do not like PLR or the promotion of it!

        Cheers

    Hi

    Hi

There's a number of ways to use PLR articles as well as rewriting them.

    Use them for newsletters

    Content on your blog

Turn them into an online course

    Create an ebook with them

    Create reports with them

Use them for squidoo lenses and then sell the lenses

The list is endless with a bit of imagination.

I would stay away from software. Usually the end result isn't the best. Add your own brief introduction and conclusion to the PLR article. Try to add your own story about the subject. If it has items being listed break them out into bullet points. Find an affiliate program you can promote in the conclusiopn fo the article making sure it's realted to the subject of the PLR article. That is how I re-write PLR.

Then repurpose it into a video and audio podcast so you get more mileage out of it.

I agree with the others. If you are going to use it then you must rewite it. Change the title, paragraphs.

Using plr can save you a ton of time in product creation but you have to be willing to do some work to change it up and make it unique.

Put a bit of thought into them, and use them as e-books,make sure each report is a new page in your PLR E-Book,Include your links.

Build a list and use them, as is, for newsletter content/auto responder series. Just be sure to correct any grammar and spelling mistakes first.

        Hi warriors,

Thanks for all the input. Some great information for me.

I think I will do all of the above. Re-write some content to send to article directories, turn a few into ebooks to give away to my list and use the rest as blog content.

Thanks also for the info on the software. I assumed it may be more trouble than its worth.

        Warm Regards
