As others mentioned, I would take a look at your promotions and quality of traffic coming to your offer and the product itself. There should be a seamless sales process from start to finish, meaning the keywords/content relate to your offer and you are giving a lead exactly what they are searching for.

I have seen many marketers choose any eBook on Clickbank with a high gravity and try to FIT it in to their current website/marketing strategies. These types of shortcuts do not work and either do not produce sales or increase refunds.

I have several eBooks on Clickbank that continue to do well with a minimal number of refunds. Yes, I agree Kindle is giving Clickbank some competition...but this is all the more reason to create eBooks and sell them on Kindle also.

What absolute rubbish. CB is not born for refunds. Those affiliates with a high refund rates have so for two reasons:

        1. The product they sold is garbage. And that's as much your fault as it is the vendors. You should ALWAYS get a copy of the CB product you intend to sell before promoting it and make sure it satisfies the needs of the prospective buyer.

        2. Second reason for high refund rates is miss-selling on the part of the affiliate. If ridiculous expectations have been set which the product you are selling can never live up to, of course you'll have refunds.

        COMMON SENSE HEY!

It is my suggestion that either, you dont know what you are talking about and have never tried CB marketing, or you have fallen into the two traps above.

And this statistic relies on the fact that YOU haven't been able to sell any Clickbank products?

Have you earned tons of money from CB and now suddenly your sales have dried up?

I think I know exactly what the problem is but I'd like to hear your answer first.

because , I happen to see from other forums , etc

quite a few IM mention last time they use to earn quite a decent sales from click bank...but recently sales down and sometimes even don't have...

hmm..that why I curious....is it click bank itself changed its policy without telling others?

You have to look at your promotion method as well as the product you are promoting.

Start with the War Room with some great Clickbank promotion strategies. YouTube is definitely a good starting point as long as you don't directly link but rather use a squeeze page or link to a blog with your affiliate links there.

1 refund off of 1 sale is not enough data to write off the product completely but do look into the Clickbank product stats in the marketplace. You do have to do some homework!

Whats wrong with direct linking in YT if the link is iframed or cloaked?

If you are getting a lot of refund requests that simply means you are not promoting the right product to the right kind of traffic. PERIOD!

Just because its on Cb doesn't mean it's a good product. Sometimes gravity figures could be misleading too.

Personally for me I choose products that have gravity between 12 and 25 and there are at least 3-4 products in the niche. And, I do make 5-7 sales a day using just paid press releases (yes, it still works and I use my own twist in it to make sure I reach the right audience).

Be it CB products or any other product on any other platform successful marketing has a lot to do with understanding the "buying phase" of the buyer and selecting products and keywords accordingly.

    E.g:

If you are selling "red roses", someone using the search term "red roses" is less likely to buy from you compared to one searching for "need fresh red roses for my first date"!

Yes, long tail keywords work, but that's not what its all about. Someone searching for "red roses" could also buy from you if your product is advertised on a dating forum!

So, its all about connecting the right people with the right products.

    Hope that helps.

I agree with Michael you have to look at what methods your using to promote and the product your promoting. Is the product something you would like to buy and have you purchased the product yourself to check it out.

You need a fair bit of traffic to sell ClickBank products. Plus some creativity in finding products on there that the other warriors aren't selling (seen a lot about that Growing Taller guide on here lately).

But ClickBank is a shrinking market - people buy books on Kindles and stuff, and other people download the books for free.

Doesn't matter if the product is your own or if it's on Clickbank... the bottom line is promotion and marketing. How is your marketing strategy? Are you doing email marketing? These are things you have to consider.

The trick to clickbank is really niche targeting. You have to understand your niches and how to promote to them to convert CB products.

I did VERY well in the "poker" niche a few years back. Around 24K for the year selling a basic strategy texas-holdem system.
