Internet Marketing Interns/VA?

How do you currently hire Interns/VAs?

I've tried Odesk & other Freelance sites but haven't got the best experience yet.

Most of them aren't well trained about SEO, link building or IM in general and you have to train them a lot. It's not that I don't like training them, in fact, I'd love to teach Interns all that I know but then I don't think I should be paying that much, in this case.

So, how has your experience been hiring Interns? Is there any specific job board which you can recommend?

I'm basically want to hire Interns/VAs who are either well trained (in which case, I'm willing to pay more) or who wish to work and learn, on a stipend.

How much should I be paying in both the cases?

Thanks,
Ankit

Send out an advert on here, I know that there are plenty very good VAs who get ALL of their business from WF!

I am willing to pay anything which would be considered fair and more. Do you recommend any specific amount?

Yes, I have used it before but the other way around. I get an account there so that I can post my skills and that potential clients/employers can contact me.

Warriors for Hire is an excellent resource for locating quality VAs and Outsourcers. They know the business, and if they are active and engaged on this site they should know the ropes a little.

As with anything do your due diligence, ask questions and really know what it is you expect from them, how you are going to deliver the work, and how you are going to manage them.

          Much success to you.

I grabbed a couple of good VA's from fiverr.
If you want to try that yourself, make sure they have good feedback and that they reply promptly to your enquiry. They were asking for 2.50 an hour which is what I gave them. One was based in the Phillipines and the other in Jamaica.
