Setting Up An Affiliate Program For a Service That Requires a Deposit
How would I set up an affiliate program for a service that requires a deposit?
For instance, what if I have a $1000 service that requires a $500 deposit to begin, and a $500 payment on completion, and I'm paying an affiliate $200 of the total?
Do I pay the affiliate out of the deposit, or wait until the balance is paid?
What do I do if the client can't or won't pay the balance? Would I pay the affiliate just a percentage of their commission?
Note - I've never set up an affiliate program before.
