There are several of them already at Warrior Forum. I was asked to participate in one, but I plenty declined. Not that I personally see anything wrong with it. It's just that Amazon royalties have become a significant portion of my income and I don't want to do anything in AMAZON'S eyes that may seem to be "gaming the system."

As long as a person is giving an HONEST review on a book he actually read, I don't see anything wrong with it (although if a person were paid or compensated for providing a review, it is much more likely that their review will be OVERLY flattering).

    Much Success,

yeah i know what you mean... i heard that most people that buy on kindle don't leave reviews and that there also people on amazon that religiously look for new products to leave reviews on... just trying to get my head around this part as i have heard reviews (good bad and mediocre) contribute to getting more sales

Amazon strictly prohibits such kind of activity. Hope you'll not get caught...

This is a never ending problem... Even if thousands of people will get your book, they probably won't leave a review - people simply don't have the time to do it in their busy lives... According to Amazon, you can't ask your readers for reviews! There are a few Review Exchange Groups and lots of people on Fiverr which are offering to review your book. The decision on what to do is up to each and every author... I use both exchange groups and fiverr gigs and it works for me!

Actually, you can ask your readers to review your book. You just can't pay them, or expect them to review your book upon request, or even in an exchange group. Whether or not a book is reviewed is always up to the reader.

I STRONGLY advise you to not join one of these groups. Not only is it dishonest to potential readers, I think Amazon will eventually figure out who is doing it and enact severe penalties. Like Joe, I have too much riding on my Kindle royalties to ever think about gaming the system.

Write good books, build an audience and ask for reviews from readers. Those are the best long term Kindle strategies

It's not against the TOS to ask for reviews.

It is against the TOS to trade reviews, give positive reviews for pay, or otherwise try to rig the game.

I agree I'm writing my 4th book and I feel this will become one of my top passive incomes and I don't want to risk my Amazon account getting shut down, so I will not join it. Also do you think it's possible Amazon could outsource for someone to act as an agent pretend to be an author so they can compile a list who is doing it then one day make an example and ban everyone? I'm not saying they are but just think if they wanted to they could.

Most Internet marketers appear to be completely dishonest, and almost always broke. There must be a connection somewhere

Hmmmm That's an interesting observation. If true, there is an obvious correlation because people ultimately do read past BS and want legit content.

I don't think so. It's best to find a group of people who are avid readers and go from there.
