Updated 6/6-Google Traffic Loophole...Hot Niches In Under 3 Seconds + EZA Success Spying

It's Wednesday and time to give back to
all you fellow Warriors who give so much
great info here!

------------------------------------------
Google Niche Research Loophole
------------------------------------------

This takes no more than 3-5 seconds to
do and will reveal some super hot niches
to dive into...with traffic stats for proof.

Step 1: Open Up Google.com

Step 2: Type a "Seed Topic" word

This can be anything like:

wedding
fishing
online marketing
baby crib
microphones
photography

Step 3: Insert the "Secret Google Code"

Code: (copy the entire string)

Code:
site:ezinearticles.com "This article has been viewed 2000..199999" "Article Submitted On: * *, 2009"
Do you know exactly what this code does?

If not, I'll explain it in detail for you
in just a second.

Step 4: Click Search

You're going to notice something super
awesome in the results: Topics that are
grabbing thousands of eyeballs!

This method is so powerful because it allows
you to see first hand what topics are traffic
magnets...
so you can "Clone & Profit"

(Hint: Pay close attention to the Title Tag and
Description Tag...it's what influenced the
traffic to click the link in the Google results!)

I made a video that goes into even
more customization tips, and a full explanation
of how to exploit this loophole to put money
in your pocket.

Video 2: EZA Success Spying For Exact Keyword Influences

(You'll see exactly how to spot hot keywords effectively from these articles...step by step...)

Now Clone & Profit,
Jack Duncan

P.S. Have a great Wednesday!

Great! Glad to hear you are getting some good use of this technique.

Just for clarification, doing a search for all articles submitted from Jan-Jun of 2009 with over 1000 views comes back with a whopping 29,000 results...and that is just for ezinearticles.com. You can also customize the search for other article sites that also show this information.

Also, don't forget that you can change the values lower...and specify a month as well.

    For instance, this code:

site:ezinearticles.com "This article has been viewed 500..199999" "Article Submitted On: May *, 2009"

...would reveal hot articles that were just submitted in May of 2009 with at least 500 views already.

(Hint...if there is only 1 link in the article, contact the article writer and ask to pay for a link placement. )

    Enjoy and Prosper,

      Great!

Glad to hear you all are enjoying/using this tip...it's a gold mine when you start working with it!

There are plenty more sites, though most not as big as ezinearticles.com, that offer their submission dates and stats.

You can play around with variations and make sure to also use the word "views" in place of "viewed".

If you spend the time hunting around first for the sites, you can then craft the code pretty quickly using the above code as a template.

      Cheers,

Here is a code for Associated Content that will give you some great ideas from fast rising articles:

        Code:
showing result 1 of 1 site:associatedcontent.com "total page views: 200.." AND "published content: 1" AND "published */*/2009"
Now, that is a little different that the other codes, because as far as I can tell, Associated Content doesn't show their individual article view count...unless, of course, there is only 1 article.

So, using this, we can get some hot topics for 2009 from the good folks at AC, who always have really creative Keyword Research ideas.

Jack, I got your email on this method and it is quite clever, thank you so much for sharing it.

Now maybe I am dumb, but I don't get how to figure out what would make an article have so many views? Like when I search on "dog", "Stop Puppy Biting - Do's and Don'ts" is an example of an article viewed a lot of times. But I'm not sure how EZ works from the readers' points of view. Like, are these people searching for "puppy biting" or "puppies" or "do's and dont's" and this pops up?

Am I to assume that "puppy biting" is a good theme, and the various similar keywords are good for the theme, because of this? I guess I am confused as to what to do with this tool, how it can help. Also if "viewed" means the article was actually opened to read, or just viewed on a list. Thanks for any help, anyone.

      Thanks Jack,

This is quite useful. I did a little bit of searching through other directories and for the benefit of everyone here, I will share some of the directories I found that this works with and the code that you need (as it is changed for some of them).

      Here you go:
Search Warp - site:searchwarp.com "This article has been viewed 2000..199999"

Idea Marketers - site:ideamarketers.com "This article has been viewed 2000..199999"

      Article Sphere - site:articlesphere.com "Views: 2000..199999"

      Articles Base - site:articlesbase.com "Views: 2000..199999"

      Article Pool - site:articlepool.com "Views: 2000..199999"

Acme Articles - site:acmearticles.com "Number Times Read: 2000..199999"

Article Bliss - site:articlebliss.com "Number Times Read: 2000..199999"

      Free-Articles-Zone - site:free-articles-zone.com "viewed 2000..199999 times"

Now here are some that they don't show the view count directly on the article page, but they do show the stats on the category/subcategory pages, so it can find some articles on those pages that can be helpful:

      Article Trader - site:articletrader.com "(2000..199999 views)"

      Amazines - site:amazines.com "Article Views: 2000..199999"

      Article Maniac - site:articlemaniac.com "Viewed: 2000..199999 Times"

And you can also use this to find topics on Quizilla as well. Though Quizilla is not an actual article directory, it can still be useful for market research, and you can post your articles there, so I decided to add it to this list:

      Quizilla - site:quizilla.com "Viewed 2000..199999"

Some of them you may have to make the view count less than 2000 depending on the topic, but otherwise those will all work.

Hope that helps save some people some time seeing what other directories it works with. (There are probably more out there, but these ones should be enough to get what you need)

      @shorwood,
Thanks so much for taking the time to post those others...Searchwarp is one that I was already using..."number of times read" is also good to note as a possible way of designating view count.

As a side note...the top article (views per month since being written) was this article pulling in a whopping 17,893 views per month since it was written...Shows the power of a well ranked article at the right time. Consequently, you can see what this approach does for your website traffic here (Notice that the estimate is that 9% of all referral traffic is coming through EZA (the author has just 5 articles at EZA pointing to this site...)

Secondly, do you have a link to any further information about how to use Google's advanced operands? Or, in fact, any neat search tweaks?

        Here's another neat trick:

        ------------------------------------------
Google Hot Niche Research Alert System
        ------------------------------------------

Step 1: Setup your search string as above.

Say I want hot topics around "weddings"

        I would use:
wedding site:ezinearticles.com "This article has been viewed 2000..199999" "Article Submitted On: * *, 2009"

Step 2: Change the "viewed value" to 500 or 1000

        i.e.:
wedding site:ezinearticles.com "This article has been viewed 500..199999" "Article Submitted On: * *, 2009"

Step 3: Change the date to the current month. (*this works best at the beginning of the month.)

        i.e.:
wedding site:ezinearticles.com "This article has been viewed 500..199999" "Article Submitted On: June *, 2009"

Step 4: Setup a Google Alert using the code.

        Go to Google Alerts

Input the above modified code...and your email address.

Step 5: Sit back and let Google tell you when a new hot topic arrives.

Now you will be notified by Google when there is a new breakout article and you can profit from the keywords and niche research...

        Enjoy and Prosper,

Hi Jack thanks for some great search tips.

One minor tweak: the upper bound of the number range is optional if you are just looking for the maximum.

i.e "This article has been viewed 2000.." is fine

Thanks for the code Jack! I tried it and it works great! I even used it without a keyword to find the top 13 articles of 2009. It's not surprising that the top articles revolve around weight loss, dating, penis enlargement and **** berry juice.

Hi Jack, I have a question about video 2. When you open Rank Tracker for the first time, you enter in the Ezinearticle address for the article you're targeting. My question is should I do that for all of my the articles I'm targeting or is it just a one time thing?

Thanks Jack I feel so important! Thank you for the video, I will check it out.
Your welcome...hope it clears things up for you.

Someone asked "What do you mean by Title Tag and Description Tag"...

If you watch Video #2...and you know what rankings are now bringing the traffic to that article...just do a search in Google for those terms, and find the Link (the Title of the article) and the Description below (not always the description tag...but definitely what the user saw that made them click on the link to get to the article.)

      Make Sense?

Vikuna2009+ try typing into the Google search bar: your keyword and then the code right after your keyword, here's an example using the keyword wedding

wedding site:ezinearticles.com "This article has been viewed 2000..199999" "Article Submitted On: * *, 2009"

Thanks a lot for the info Jack, I especially enjoyed the 2nd video - very informative indeed!

I do have a question though, I did everything as you described, using the search term 'weight loss' and an ezine article titled 'Your Motivation To Lose Weight'

I put into rank tracker, all the keywords from the google keyword tool website content search. It showed me that the article ranked first in google for the keyword 'hoodia 57' and 'rss for dummies' .... these are completely unrelated and when I type these keywords into google, the article is nowhere to be seen.

It's the same with the other keywords that show up too. Now I get the feeling Rank Tracker is using the ezine.com domain instead of the article's specific URL ... any ideas on how I can correct this?

        Thanks in advance

This is a great tool and I'm sure it'll help me build better articles. I've been struggling writing articles like crazy to make even just a buck.

One thing I'd like to point out: Take a quick glance down the list of keywords you get from google adwords after the website search. Make sure that they're all relevant to your keyword! Sounds so simple but can really throw the results on rank tracker.

I followed the instructions and I even chose the same article as the video and Google gave me entirely different keywords from the video. Every time I put keywords in the rank checker I get 0 results. Does this method work or did the folks at Rank Tracker decide to pull the rug out from under us before we got started with the free software? Maybe they want us to upgrade before it works correctly?? Wouldn't surprise me.

I have had mixed success with the google adwords tool finding the right keywords too. I much prefer SEOBOOK's seo xray tool, which is also free. You have to use your own discretion to figure out which keywords are working.

Rank Tracker works, and you don't need the upgrade. you can't save your projects with the free version, which is a hassle, but...it's free!

Wow Jack, I can't believe you're giving this away for free. You deliver a brillant piece of reverse-engineering here, as always... *thumbs up*

I played around a little to get the concept working for other well known article directories, here are my results:

      goarticles:
      Code:
      keyword site:www.goarticles.com "Submitted by * * on 2009 (2000..199999 requests)"
please note that this search only spits out author pages containing a link to the article you're searching for, so I couldn't find a completely satisfying solution for this directory. The search result is only relevant if there aren't the 3 points (...) in the description of the result. So for going on with such an article you must use the url of the article itself, not the indexed url. Anyway, there are only a few results that have more than 2000 views and were created in 2009 (surprise, angela is one of them...^^) so you should consider lowering that number for more results. goarticles isn't that SEO-friendly I guess...^^

      articlesbase:
      Code:
      intitle:keyword site:www.articlesbase.com "Posted: * * , 2009" "Comments: *" "Views: 2000..199999"
You can also leave out the "intitle:" operator, however it gives you probably more relevant results for your search.

You can also put a tilde (~) in front of your keyword, google will then search for keywords and related words.
If someone wants such a code for a particular article directory or syndicated content site etc, feel free to pm me, I'll try my best...^^

    NOT WORKING FOR ME!

I have seen a few comments similar to what I am about to say...why are articles with several thousand views in a short period of time not showing any results in rank tracker in the top 10...just for fun I found an article Submitted 2-3 days ago with over 600 views on ezine and nothing in the top 10 results??? This was the article...

(can't post links yet so remove Xs)

Nothing in top 10 results? Are they getting links from social bookmarking I wonder?

It is not Link Tracker Software Because I checked my own site and it worked for top 10 words I know of....

Very informative post Jack. You and others just continue to confirm the value of this forum. As a relatively new marketer I find these tips and insights by veteran marketers to be extremely helpful (and I guess that is the idea). Please continue the good work.
