Amazon affiliate question - not sure if legal

I'm starting a new ecommerce site with products I'm selling on Amazon currently.

Question: Can I give people a choice of buying on the site or buying on Amazon, and have my own amazon affiliate account linked to my "buy on Amazon" button? Or is it not in the TOS to make affiliate money off of your own product?

I looked at that and didn't see a problem.

I've never seen anything on Amazon specifically about the question you're asking, but I wouldn't expect the slightest problem. You can run Amazon ads with any other type of ads on the same page, like Adsense. I can't imagine any reason why they wouldn't want you to sell your own product, even if it is on the same page.

My understanding is the same as Lloyd. Because affiliates are monetizing their sites with Adsense as well as Amazon, for example, I can't see a problem from what you are proposing. You can always clarify with Amazon.

    That shouldn't be a problem
