Need advice on where to find experts to collect information

Hi,

I am envisioning creating my first real info product and I need to find some experts who I can give a survey/list of questions to in order to collect information.

1) Where are some good places to find people to "hire" like this for a market that is not "online"? By "not online" I mean things like banking or career advice.

2) I am thinking of asking for people who have xx years of experience in this field blah blah and are willing to answer 15 questions in detail for $50. Does that sound reasonable? Is there a better way to do this?

3) Any other advice for collecting information from experienced people for inclusion into an ebook?

I'd prefer not to hit the public sites like Yahoo questions, as I'd like to keep the information I'm paying for somewhat private, but I will be flexible -- I just need to get this done so I can get movin' on my product (I've been procrastinating far too long already).

Thanks!
Mike

Try the yellow pages - either the online one or your local phone book.

Oh, sorry if I was confusing. I'm interested in online places to connect with people to ask questions about offline subjects

I thought of elance and similar places, but I'm unsure how many bankers or career advisors (as an example) would be prowling on there looking to make money.
