Career Niche Traffic
I need some serious feedback. Not the usual try free traffic methods, paid traffic is the best traffic or links to the massive traffic sources on the forum. I need specifics. I don't know and can't even consider PPC right now but I am open to spending some money. I've spent a few weeks on here searching, combing through threads and testing methods but I'm not getting anywhere.
I have a new resume site and I'm losing my mind trying to get traffic to it.
The little traffic I get does convert well but I need to increase that traffic considerably. My goal is 90K visitors a month. I'm not afraid of hard work but I don't want to rely on search engine traffic. I really need something scalable that once I know it works, I can go harder with the strategy.
I've tried social media (twitter, pinterest, reddit - learning about youtube now), blog commenting, forum commenting, SEO and even Outbrain (they rejected my site). I'm getting about 75 UV/day with all of this. I want to try solo ads but don't have the deep pockets for real solo ads. I've checked out a few of those email marketing services found in G but when I check for scam alerts they don't pass the grade. I'm in the DOE but only saw one smaller site targeting this niche (job seekers/ careers etc).
I have a few ads up on CL but again, just a couple visitors here and there. I have adsense on the site so as much as I would love to, PPV (was looking at LeadImpact) is out. I'd love to do a press release, especially considering the state of the economy and that it's graduation time. I just have to be sure the money I'll spend will bring in results.
I feel like there are more targeted ways to reach my audience and goal but I just don't know what they are yet or I'm not getting it right. If I find even one method that definitely works, I will focus and commit to scaling it up.
Please help. I have to make something happen by the end of this month. Thanks for your input.
