Do I need to learn web designing before I can make money??

I am a Domainer and I usually do my business without a website.

I was thinking of getting into some auto-pilot formula like niche based websites etc.
However, I wonder if I would have to learn web designing for that purpose.
I was also thinking of Affiliate Marketing also.

But I do not have a blog or a website.
Neither can I invest any money on PPC.

What method should I go for??

Any and every suggestion would be appreciated!!

It's not a necessity at all. I know how to design websites, but have found that I've never really 'needed' it with my websites. That being said - I recommend at least knowing how to do simple HTML things - such as aligning, images, etc (not a necessity, though).

I recommend you work with WordPress, and get yourself a theme; free or paid.

    Works like a charm.

Find someone who will set you up a wordpress blog for free.

You will need hosting, so the deal is you use there affiliate link to sign up for hosting, and they set the blog up, usually with a decent premium theme.

All you need to do is add content.

Nowadays you don't really need to know web design to get into Internet marketing. Plenty outsourcing and website builders can be found. In case with Wordpress blogs you just need to choose a theme and take care about related content. See for example blogican.com service.

But if you think of being a professional in Internet marketing you should start learning the basics. Otherwise you are to pay your money to others to do even simple things. I would say some basic HTML and web design knowledge are industry minimum requirements.

However as it was said you may dive in without knowing a thing.

The simplest way is to buy a domain and set up wordpress and have a play around with it, there are plenty of free tutorials online and once you get the basics down it is very easy to set up sites with very little technical skill.

Personally, I like to give others a chance and hire the people to do the jobs I do not have the knowledge and experience for. It helps me when others pay me to write their articles. However, i believe that having at least basic notions about the things you need helps you better understand what to ask for.

    Nah.

I absolutely suck at design and my squeeze pages convert, my sales pages are decent enough, and wordpress enables me to create better design than what was possible only a few years ago.

    :]

PS: But, design doesn't hurt at all. And it's good to practice.

I make 6 figures online as an affiliate and I don't know web design.

I just use lead pages to create all my stuff, and it works fine for me.

If you don't have money for paid traffic, social media is the only true source of free traffic in my opinion.

OK.. here is some advice from me:

    1. Get some hosting if you don't have any. It is cheap..maybe $10 a month to start with

    2. Get an account with GetResponse. No, really...don't waste time looking on thread trying to find a cheap or free alternative. It is the best . And you get month 1 free.

    3. Get a domain name. $10 or so a year. peanuts.

    4. Install Wordpress and put on it the free theme called Graphene. Donate if you can afford. This is the most wonderful theme that you can do everything with.

    5. Invest in HybridConnect. A plug-in that will build your lists for you. The only one you need.

    7. Offer a freebie that people would walk barefoot across broken glass to get - but actually they only need to provide their name & email address.

    6. Create great content. Several times a week

    7. Create a liked FB page & have your blog posts added there using a free FB plug in

    8. Invest in FB ads promoting your latest blog posts to a very targeted audience.

    9. Once your FB page has an audience learn how to use the power editor to create posts that will send traffic to your blog.

    10. Create an a value packed autoresponder sequence for your subscribers.

    Boom.

Yes, you will have to dive into web design a little bit... but no you do not need to become a full blown web design expert.

What I would suggest is googling how to set up a WordPress website and watching some Youtube videos on setting that up. You will need to purchase a domain and web hosting. Once you have a WordPress blog installed, actually using your website and making pages with WP is VERY intuitive. There's tutorials online for all things WP and it is the most user-friendly platform out there.

Yes, there are ways to make money online without a website, but if you are really serious about making money, in my personal opinion, you must own a website and know a bit of web design/ WordPress know-how.
