How can I create UDEMY Course?

I am basically not native English speaker. I can speak very well but can not get help with accent. so, Can anyone tell me what should I do? The course material is ready to go.

    Hi. Congrats on completing your course. I can think of two options that could help you:
    1. Hire a native or good English speaking person to narrate the video for you.
    2. Partner with someone and offer to share the profits. I assume you created the course content in your native language so if you can hire someone that speaks your language and also speaks English, this could be a good option for you.

      I totally agree with travlinguy. But the target market is US and I want my students to feel comfortable through out the course. Definitely I am not ashamed of anything (NO WAY) but from the student's perspective, I think I should make some voice-overs.

        I just finished a Udemy course given by a guy and English was not his first language. It was one of the best courses I've ever taken. You do what you feel is best but people don't care nearly as much about the delivery as they do the content.

      While in principle I stand by what you've said, it may not be the best business choice. One of the most important aspects of video and audio courses is your audience's ability to concentrate on the message. If they are having trouble making out words and saying, "What did he say?" in their mind every 30 seconds, you can lose them. Don't sacrifice your sales funnel because you want to send a cultural message. You business strategy is not the appropriate place to do that.

      Many people who are just starting can't afford professional voice-over services, which can range from $20-50 per minute! If you don't have the start-up money, you might have to offer equity.

    I have to agree with travilinguy on this one.

    Many of the courses on Udemy are from non-native English speakers - and they can do very well.

    Plus, practice makes perfect - get out there, test yourself, push yourself, grow.

    Depending on the topic I would agree. If your course is video driven with all of the basic elements on the screen that the user can see and/or read while you walk them through it, they can usually figure it out. If, however, it isn't all on the screen and there are words/terms they can't understand if not pronounced clearly it can be an issue.

    One of the big things about doing it yourself is that you engage with your buyers and they get to know you. You become part of the brand.

    One of the best-selling courses on Udemy is about creating high-quality do-it-yourself videos...

    ...and the guy has a very thick spanish accent.

    In his case, I think it adds to the charm.

    Why?

    The guy KNOWS HIS STUFF.

    His mastery of his topic is undeniable.
