Fat People Often Don't Do Too Well In Life??

I hate to sound like a bigot.

This may attract some controversy - or even haters.
Haters are going to be haters right?

So I am not going to apologize for being blunt and forthcoming.
But do hear me out.

I think there is a direct co-relation with being fat and not doing too well in life. That is not to say that all horizontally challenged people are failures. Or that thin / fit people are definitely successes. I wished it was that easy. LOL.

Rather - I noticed a few success patterns that are present when you follow a healthy lifestyle:

Delayed Gratification - being patient and not rushing to that next new program / system to immediate riches.

Self Control - in keeping a healthy diet. Refraining for doing things even if they "feel like doing it".

Discipline - in keeping a good workout / eating routine. Doing things even if they don't "feel like it"

A Healthy Self Esteem - fat people usually see themselves as lesser due to their weight and inability to do certain things due to their weight
Perseverance

Confidence - fat people often have an excuse for eating more / not having the time to workout / and almost everything else that happens to them

Continuous Tracking / Improvement - keep tracking on what works / what doesn't (be it workout program or diets) and carry on increasing weights and reps to ensure you get the results that you want.

Working Out - taking action and not just being an "armchair fitness guru". Don't be that fat kid that advices people on what to eat / how to workout by just reading all about working out.
I usually "politely" thank them for advice on what to avoid - so that I don't end up like them.

Drown the Haters & Carry On Hustlin - sure its weird that everyone else chooses to go watch a movie and eat pizza when you choose to spend time working out or having a healthy salad. But it's these traits that make you different from 99% of the population out there. Remember, if success is easy - everyone would be successful. Success is for those who ignore the crowd and continue to do what is right - day after day - despite what the other failures say.

Never Giving Up - Sure you have your up's and down's but the point is to "fall down 10 times but get up 11" (can't recall where that awesome quote came from).

I honestly think you are what you eat and you are the result of what you choose to prioritize in your life.

If you choose to prioritize lazing about instead of hustling your balls to make epic things happen, or working out - you really don't have anyone else to blame.

In short - cultivate great success habits, eat less carbs, sugar, workout more, and continuously take action daily towards your own success...
Hope you found this useful ;-)

You made good points here, mate. To be successful, you've got to love yourself first. Loving one's self should definitely include health. If you really want something, you will find a way whereas if you don't, you are going to find an excuse.

you want to be healthy.. and have more wealth ..grow and prepare as much food as possibly ..and before you eat any type of new food do a worm test ..buy it bury it with worms and if the worms dont start eating it ..you should not buy it to eat .

also don't get on any medications unless you have some rare debilitating disease ..pain killers stop the bodies healing process and lead to further deterioration ..and if you do not work on your though patterns psychotropic medication only work for a while but run the risk of increasing suicide risk..and in my experience weight gain . and we shoot animals full of anti biotics to fatten them up ..

if the animals are eating a mostly coin and soy diet and not moving much..and antibiotics help fatten them up.

and most people are eating a mostly corn and soy based diet and not moving much ..the medications might be healping to fatten them up for harvest by the medical system.

oh yeah and don't eat in your car .

and yes don't watch tv ..unless it is the food network so you get craving for high quality tasty food..watching tv leads to snacking and eating without tracking how much you eat .

Interesting post, managed to cover a controversial subject well.

It is really centred on habits.

I think there are habits that make us grow physically and mentally and habits that make us happy in the moment for a few minutes.
I think the most important and helpful habits are counter intuitive, it's a lot easier to get used to consuming what creates that instant happy feeling rather than looking to what will benefit us in the future.

We all struggle in some ways to save money for the future and 40 percent of us spend more money that we have coming in, similar to consuming more calories than we burn off, so food works in the same way, eating is like spending, it makes you happy in the moment but doesn't last very long before you want to eat (or buy) more.

Like everything in life I guess it takes work to change bad habits and do what is more counter intuitive to us and think of the future. But in terms of exercise you do feel better when you get into the habit and it makes you more energised in other parts of your life, it just takes a bit longer to get that buzz that eating or spending gives you but with patients can certainly change your life.

Really - I don't think you do, because it might have stopped you posting this unsubstantiated drivel, based on your own personal predjudice.

Got to love it when someone groups people together by some arbitrary attribute, depersonalises them and then argues that they are inferior because of that chosen attribute.

    My mind boggles.

I would agree with the points that you made, but only on 2 conditions:
    1. that the person in question WANTS to lose weight
    2. that they don't have a physical illness/condition that causes them to keep the weight on

There are some people who like being "overweight", and have no intention of slimming down, just like there are some people who prefer their partners to be larger instead of thinner. In this case, the majority of what's listed won't count, because the person doesn't see it as a problem to be solved.

For people with a physical ailment (one that ACTUALLY makes it hard for them to lose weight), there are some things that they have very little control over, so the idea that they don't have enough will power, self-control, discipline, and the like doesn't really fit.

However, assuming that the aforementioned conditions have been met, I can totally see where you're coming from.

I am not fat. My BMI is perfect. And I don't like to see fat people. But that is not to say that they cannot do as well in life. They can, just like you and I.

For all the haters out there, I can only quote what T Harv Eker says: How you do anything is how you do everything.

And as we say in Malaysia - "Whoever who eats the chilli, they feel the heat" :-)
So if just lazing around with air sandcastles of getting rich works for you - all the power to you! :-)
And do buy more WSO's while you are at it...

As I mentioned - I wished it was that easy to see success based on body sized. If so, our friends in Africa would be rich. But its true grit, discipline and stick-to-it-ness beyond what the average person would do that determines success.

Its having the strength to go the extra mile when the rest of the world gives up.

Sure, different people have different "pain tolerance" but I find the things that test our perseverance is developing and maintaining good habits.
This can be in meditation or working out.

Our mind has a funny way of self sabotaging good things we do.
I know this - because I have fallen into this time and time again. Either we think "oh, I have done enough, I deserve a break" or even more dangerous "I don't deserve this, since I am already in this condition - I will just accept my fate in my circumstances".

Both very dis-empowering and would lead to mediocre if worst results.

Then you must do a lot of justifying yourself with the "anybody who disagrees with me is a hater" mantra.

I'd rather have a few extra pounds than your personality.

  • This was a well thought out post. The author made a number of very good points.

I do say eating habits are completely relative to the being. Some people over eat to comfort themselves from the ravages of the world, and we have no idea what or how they are getting through it all. Others may use food in a self medicative way. Yet others may simply only be able to afford cheap calories but not good nutrition. It's a hard call.

But those serious about these things can and should take them to heart and see what they can do with what they have.

I've always been fat and bought my first Corvette at 23 and my income is well above the average in the US. Which makes me part of the 1% when you consider the whole planet.

Maybe the difference is I choose to enjoy life. I'm making the conscious choice to enjoy food vs. getting healthy. I'm making the conscious decision to buy things (like cars) vs. saving. I'm making the conscious decision to watch TV or surf the net vs. working harder. I am the author of my life.

Also here's one thing I have noticed about people who promote delayed gratification. The vast majority are not only "poor" (average, not rich etc) but live even poorer. You can not get rich by controlling expenses and saving. Though you can get rich selling people on that idea. (Dave Ramsey for example). You get rich and enjoy life by increasing revenue or cash flow.

I think people would be a lot more successful if they enjoyed life and had to earn more to enable themselves to have an even better life. Stop saving to buy the Corvette. Instead figure out how much you need to make to be able to afford the payments. Once you know that then it's just a matter of how long it will take you to get there.

I set my first goal like that when I was in 8th grade. Told my teacher I would buy a Corvette ASAP. She was working two jobs and told me a $400+ car payment was not realistic. I was 2 months short of my 20th Birthday when I got my first job. 3.5 years later I had my Corvette with my $450/mo car payment.

My current goal is to get myself to the income level where I can buy a Lambo. 5 years or less is what I am targeting.

As you can see my motivation is cars. Find yours and then get out there and get the cash flow/income needed to live that life.

You can save yourself to be a millionaire. Or you can have no net worth and live the life of a millionaire. Unless you love money it's clear which one will give you the better life.

Plus it's hard to be motivated by 1 million in the bank in 20 years. It's much easier to be motivated by 400 horsepower sitting in my garage and knowing that if I mess up I'll lose the ability to pay for it.

I guess it depends on your life priorities.
Some choose to live longer by staying healthy to enjoy the money they have earned. Others prefer to spend it on medical bills when they get older.

As you rightfully mentioned its a personal choice.
I personally choose to be medication free, having the energy to do what I want when I want and doing almost anything in life without worrying too much. And yes, you can have that steak as well - but the secret is to burn more calories than you consume.

I think delayed gratification refers more towards not spending what you don't have and getting in debt buying things you can ill afford.

Like buying a Covette when you can't even make the rent...

And all the best in getting your Lambo...make sure you can fit in it ;-)

Let me comment on a few points.

        1. People are living longer but they are not necessarily living well longer. We are in many ways extending the worst moments in life. So personally I'm not worried about 5 year one way or the other. Of course I have faith in science that I may likely live several hundred years.

        2. Until recently I was completely medication free but I do now take meds for my allergies and heart burn. All over the counter. I avoid doctors as well. I am quite healthy despite being overweight. Fat does not equal unhealthy. Though a proper weight healthy person would be more healthy then I am and I freely admit that.

        3. Yes you want to burn more calories than you consume. But IMO the studies have made it quite clear that diet not exercise is the key to weigh loss. You simply can't burn as many calories as you can cut. And personally I think the jury is still out on the benefit of exercise (in the modern sense, ie daily, etc). The people who live the longest and healthiest are for the most part not exercising a load. Of course back to point #1 would you rather have 75 years you enjoy or 85 years of delayed gratification?

        4. Other than my cars which I consider monthly payments and not debt I have no debt though I am now looking for a house to buy vs renting as in my area I can get more for my monthly rent money that way.

        5. I can clearly afford rent. Plus all the other things I have. I grew up on welfare. I am quite capable of living poor if the need were to arise again. I simply choose to live well now and risk perhaps returning to poverty in my old age. But here in the US poverty isn't bad so I am not scared if that happens. I wouldn't be safe driving sports cars at an advanced age anyways.

        6. I honestly fear the "fitting" thing and not due to my weight. I am 6'4" so I am often a bit too tall for cars. The new C7 Corvette seems to have moved the dash out making it a bit close to my knees vs. the C6 I have now. They are not letting non-buyers drive them now so I can't be sure but it may actually be too small for me. Many older exotics have issues fitting tall people as well. But that is a bridge I will cross when I get to it.

        7. Of course it is your choice but why live below your means in hope that one day you will live better? Why not live the best you can now and strive to make each year better than the last? Like I said before you can not save your way to riches. But you can increase your income every year.

I'm 35 now and living a life that most don't get at all and of those who do most don't get it till they are 50 or 60 plus. And I have held myself back. How do you think I will be living in 5 years if I stop holding back?

I say this because delayed gratification is a way of holding yourself back. It's a way of being satisfied with where you are. After all you will have a great life in ____ years.

I would never tell anyone to live beyond their means. You should remain debt free except for large purchases that you are ok with the monthly cost of. I'm ok with my $560 Corvette payment and my $230 Jeep payment as I view those as monthly fees. And I can afford those payments.

You and many others would say I am giving up the interest. If I waited I would have 5% more plus the compound interest. But I counter that inflation is officially 3% and IMO is actually a lot higher. Saving vs spending just means my money is worth less or at best slightly more. Also we could both die tomorrow. You might leave enough money to pay your funeral and leave your family something but that's what I have life insurance for. Beyond that which of us is going to be looking back from the pearly gates and smiling?

Will it all be worth it if you have more money in the bank when you die vs me? Was the money in the bank worth all the missed meals with friends? Was the money worth the missed Sunday drives with the top down?

I don't know what your desires are. A nice car may be meaningless to you. But there is something you are saving for. So my advice is to stop saving for a rainy day or for retirement and start figuring out how to live the life you want now or how to increase your income level to the point where you can.

Don't risk dying tomorrow and never living the life you want. Enjoy ever day that God gives you and live it to the fullest. Every day you put off living the dream is a day wasted my friend.

I am saving up to ensure that I have a comfortable life now and in the future.
Having worked in a retail bank before and seeing so many foreclosures - it is really really sad.

Seeing grown men cry begging for extensions of payment.
As much as one needs to do a carpe diem - I am a firm believer in diversifying your risk - as T Harv Eker proposes to split your funds to different baskets which includes tithing, fun (fancy sports cars etc), bills, investments, education (courses / programs), long term savings (Eker prescribes 10%) and business (reinvesting).

I think a 10% isn't too much to ask for really...then again, its just personal opinion ;-)

But I do agree with you when you say "Don't risk dying tomorrow and never living the life you want. Enjoy ever day that God gives you and live it to the fullest. Every day you put off living the dream is a day wasted"

It ultimately comes down to pure laziness plain and simple. If you want something you have to set a goal then create a plan on getting to your goal. Thats it! Granted you can stream line the process a little bit by following in someone elses foot steps.

there is a difference between fat and heavy .. i will always be heavy and have some fat ..with the muscle i am putting on now ..i see myself being good at between 200 and 210 ..but i am at 250 right now ..at 5 foot 6 ..but i have a 36 -38 waist line and all my fat is in my belly .

it is not about how much you consume ..it is how much you store bases off your hormonal response or state while you eat and after ..and you sill screw up your body with dieting if you cut calories and increase activity ..this put your body into survival mode ..and you may burn fat but you will also cause other problems ..and once you start eating again your body will respond ..in the way it is supposed to..you will begin to store fat again and more .. for the next time you run into a simulated famine mode .

famines lasted several years sometime so this system was a key to survival ..even if it caused diseases after reproductive age .

there are only three animals on this planet that are suffering weight issues at this moment ..humans , cats , and dogs.

the more processed the food you eat is the more likely it is that you will get fat eating it and develop health problems .

if you move to where fresh food are as available and cheaper than processed packaged foods and the chickens and pigs are raised in small operations .. just eating that food will most likly cause you to be healthier .

the standard american diet will get you fat and make you sick .. just making an effort to eat a more traditional diet and putting more effort into feeding yourself than ordering take out and popping frozen food in the microwave ..will improve your health.

i know how i got fat ..and i know what i have done to improve my health and develop muscle instead of fat ..now that my back is in better shape i can move more and lose weight instead of being in terrible pain after walking any distance

Why not write your indicators of success without linking people who are fat?

Correlation does not equal causation is something that was drilled into me. People become fat for all sorts of reasons, people are successful for all sorts of reasons. This is an over-simplication at best.

People become fat for all sorts of reasons but they remain fat for the same reasons.
Unless you are like many others who choose to place blame on external circumstances and not take full responsibility for your life.

If so - it does not matter if you are fat or thin - you will never succeed because there's always some reason why others are successful and you are not or some reason why you can never progress.

I believe success and failures leaves clues...Only losers find for excuses to why things cannot be done. Pretty sure you are not a loser

poor people around the world may be poor for many different reasons ..but of course they only stay poor because of personal choices and not for total lack of opportunity to obtain wealth or work out of their conditions ..considering moving to america is no longer the thing to do if you want to increase your chance of success ..and there have always been a far higher percentage of immigrants who obtained wealth than native born Americans .

now as for weight.. the American diet is a diet that will get people fat . and you either have to do well and buy better food ..or grow high quality veg and fruit in order to not get fat from what you eat . also medications tend to increase weight .

then American have been deliberately mis informed and lied to about what is and is not healthy to eat through marketing and lies from the government .

the food pyramid was not put together based on a healthy diet it was put together to get people to eat more of what the government was subsidizing .

now I have been changing my diet to rebuild my immune system . and my digestive and elimination systems in order to lose the weight i have and keep it off .

there are plenty of good reasons to lose weight and live healthy..and always be able to earn an income .

but there are a lot of people who have nothing saved up for retirement and would rather not get old enough to drool on their shoes ..so they would rather die of a sudden heart attack than get old and live dirt poor and in a decayed state .

now if you learn to eat healthy and keep active .you extend you chances to age but stay youthful. then if you control how you earn money and always have an income . or a way to earn money that is enjoyable ..it also extends your life .

in the next 15 to 20 years we will see the first life enhancing gene therapies that will slow or stop the ageing process ..but they really will do no good if your broke or unhealthy .

Winston Churchill was fat, smoked cigars, and drank.

    He lived to be 90.

He also had a great sense of humor. Once, a woman saw him and said, "You're drunk!" He replied, "And you are ugly, but I will be sober in the morning!"

During World War II, Stalin requested condoms from the British for the Russian Army . Churchill had them all marked, "Extra Small".

What I think OP is trying to say is that, in general, fat people have a more-negative self image because social conditioning teaches us that skinny is attractive. This negative self image translates to business, work, and relationships.

I think those of you who think this is a personal attack for fat people have obviously not read the original post before commenting.

And have completely missed the point.

I admit to being prejudiced to people who do not take action for their own lives and blaming circumstances for their failures.

These are the same laggards who keep complaining about their life circumstances and do not do anything to improve it.

Judgemental - yes. But I have been around these people before.
They just drain your energy and frankly, I rather be around people who want to make things happen than people who have excuses for everything.

If there is a problem, find a solution.
If there is a roadblock, find a way.

There is always a solution for every problem.

If the thought process of just waiting for good things to rain down without putting in some work has been working well for you - I say all the power to you.

It is very convenient to blame everyone and everything else for our current challenges and situations - unfortunately that does little (or anything) to change the situation.

Before any of you cast your stones (which some of you already have) - let me tell you my life story.

I started off life hard - not being born to a rich family with a silver spoon.
Not sheltered in the comforts of a first world country.
But I am grateful for all the life situation

I used to be overweight (my mum would use the term "chubby"). I met a lot of well wishers who used to say "Be proud of who you are - you are beautiful in and out" etc etc. But guess what?
I accepted that as a fact and life did not improve.

Sure, they may be "nice people" and probably meant well - but do they have my best interest on their mind?

    No.

    Absolutely not.

Honestly, society prefers to keep their own self interest in "looking good" rather than to give 'in the trenches' advice that works.
That's what we have been taught - to not offend even if it means letting the person fail in life.

But I honestly think that is a very selfish thing to do.

It was until I made the firm decision to turn my life around - first by sticking to exercising - which built a lot of in built courage, discipline, confidence and gung ho hormones (called endorphines btw).

Staying away from "well wishers" who celebrate mediocrity and focusing my energies on being successful.

I then went on to complete my first 10km run to half marathon and have not looked back since. I will be completing my first full marathon by the end of the year.

Since then, life has gone on an upward trend.

From getting better jobs to finding a mate and to now being an entrepreneur.
When people ask me how did I succeed while some of my friends still complain about being stuck working late hours in a thankless job.

I tell them "I got lucky. The harder I work - the luckier I got."

    on principle we agree .

I am currently a year into improving my physical health ..not so much loosing weight but fixing my immune system and a diet that did not fit my body .. i still have a belly but the rest of my body has nicely developing muscles ..and i have finally eliminated the muscular part of my back pain . and i am looking for method to regenerate the problems with my spine .

Up to this point I have not needed to work out . my body is getting stronger because of what i am doing settling down my mind and releasing most all my stress and feeding my body food with health benefits.

when i get where i want to be and change my diet fully where i want it to be.. i will put together a program to regularly test how my health is improving.

    Hi sidneyng

    How condescending of you.

Anyone who classifies the characters and personalities of people according to their size is looking at life through very blinkered glasses.

There are many valid reasons for people being overweight and the jaundiced treatment that overweight people often suffer is usually from people like you.

I assume you have had little experience in dealing with and understanding anyone with emotional and physical problems, otherwise you would not write such nonsense.

I can certainly see how you can come to these conclusions. It might even be your own life experience or maybe a clouded perspective based on pre-judging others. I have no idea. It would interesting to see such studies on such things.

I know many successful and happy "fat" people as well as those who are not.

I know many unsuccessful and unhappy "fat" people as well as those who are not.

What people choose to eat and why is actually a very complicated topic that some people try to over-simplify. Throw in fitness and physical activity and you open up another pandora's box.

One thing I can tell you is that the food industry as a whole lies about what they put in our foods. And they are in bed with the FDA and other government agencies that are supposed to protect us. Is that the only reason why people are overweight?

Of course not, but it does play a role.

Want to know how scientists make lab rats get fat? They give them MSG. And MSG is in a lot of our foods today. Processed sugars are everywhere. And sodas are not the only culprits.

I don't think it's as simple as "fat" people don't do as well as people who aren't.

To the OP, I've read your post 3 times. And I even agree with SOME of the things you've written. But in the end, regardless of what you say, you are prejudiced against those who are overweight. You've taken a complicated issue and have made it a black-and-white issue and in reality, it's not that cut and dry.

And you're not alone. A lot of people have that same prejudice and I can see why because ignorance is everywhere on this topic.

Your hilarious man !! You can just say overweight geesh lol.

Well I'm a fit guy so I have to agree but there are some overweight people that are successful. I know you heard of Notorious B.I.G. And Rick Ross lol.

Anyway I remember reading in a book by Dave Lakhani , called "how to sell when nobody's buying"

    He says in the book....

"Pretty people make more money than ugly people. Skinny people make more money than fat people. Tall people make more money than short people. Now, you can argue with me all you want, but it won't change the fact that most humans have a built-in set of prejudices that they apply in any given situation."

All in all you have to be happy with yourself. Not all overweight people have low esteem so they can achieve just as much. Just try to improve yourself and be the perfect version of you. I work on that everyday!!!

You can then apply the same principles in your business ambitions and just about anything else you want to accomplish in life. : )

the thing about this post ..that is touching a nerve .

is that it leaves out of lot .

the real post should be .

If you do not do well you will probably get fat .

the quality of food available to you when you have low income.. or you do not know how to learn what is really healthy to eat .. or how to cook your own food . the very food parents get from government programs are some of the most fattening foods .

when you are poor and only have a few dollars to get food or 200 $ a month from food stamps your options for what you can buy are calorie filled tasty junk food that will leave you not filled .. or nutionally depleted calorie poor raw veg .. that will leave you hungry .

many people at least in the Us. have had basic food preparation skills left out of their up bringing ..because their parents stopped cooking . and schools stopped teaching it. and the have gotten their advice on what to eat from marketers .

If you look at the way things are in developed nations ..especially the US ..and you leave out the fact that there has been a deliberate over production of certain foods and a marketing effort to increase the consumption of food produced by large corporations.

it is the same silliness as declaring the majority of people who never even tried to get rich.. failures . because the are doing what they where trained to do from the moment they entered this world .

Looking at the statistics of obesity, CVS, diabetes, and cancer -- what is the bigger problem? That people who work on their self image are slightly more likely to kill themselves (a fraction of a % of the aforementioned diseases), or that people are fat and unhealthy?

Look at the statistics in our country and ask yourself: what is the bigger problem?

This is like when people make bulimia out to be some grand epidemic. Compare the number of bulimics to the number of fat people. FFS guys, just go to the gym it's not hard.

If what you're stating had any truth to it I would not have $30MM in online sales under my belt. Sure, I've got a nice gut courtesy of Budweiser, and I did that all my self. But it has no bearing at all on the fact that I can produce proven results for myself and my clients.

You're talking about a social preference issue pretty much made up by the media and cosmetics industry. Look at how many women fret over looking like an unrealistic airbrushing in Cosmo when not so long ago being "plump" was sexy.

Here's a notion, would it even be a concern for you if we were all as blind as Stevie Wonder?

Bottom line is who the f*%k cares! To each their own. Keep what you've chosen to value, but impose it on no one.

There's truth to living a fat and happy life with no worries about what the scale or the clock is going to say. Who cares? I don't have either one anywhere in my house, put the Rolex in the safe and gave away the rest of the watches years ago.

Someone bedridden and can't walk is unhealthy and needs help not ridiculed. People of all sizes and shapes are no different than skinny mini over there who wishes she could gain some weight. Men don't like skinny...I know that for a fact. Brickhouse is what I was called all through high school and now my daughter works in a nudest resort and she's got the biggest butt you've ever seen and she knows how to move it like all the kids do.

Tiny waist and huge boobs but she's by no means close to thin. She dresses like a model, college educated and strong as an ox. You really don't want to fight her - girls didn't like her much through school and even though she learned karate by age 12, she didn't use her training on them - just her strength that comes from meat on the bones.

Fat is where it's at. And mark my words, you will grow big and fat in your old age especially if you were fat already. Oh yeah, that jiggly jello blubber is coming your way ...slowly but surly you will be bigger and fatter this time and there's nothing you can do about it...... Karma's a bitch and then you die.

: Fat People Often Don't Do Too Well In Life??

What i believe is being fat or slim is just a symptom of deeper issues. Instead of judging by size i think we ought look at their actions. I was 195lbs and I am 5'11". I was not fat by any means but my belly started to show up. The appearance did not matter to me but my movement was very much slowed down. I could not walk fast, turn fast run fast and slowed down my whole life activities.

    I
decided to improve on it and so had good protein diet, went excercise, ate very little at night and was consistent over period of 60 days. Guess what i go the results. I came down to 160 lbs.

I still believe being fat was not the issue. The issue was my actions. I was eating junk, not educated on diet, not having proper bed time, over working and all this was the problem.

Summary: Being fat/slim is all a sympton but feeling internally good or bad about yourself matters most.

Again muscle weights twice as much as fat. so if a person is over weight does not mean they are not good. could be that his muscle weight is more.
Making a generic classification is a hard press for me.!

But I do agree about one grain of rice test will be good for one pot.

basically I think if we are consistent in doing something, the outcome can be seen right after.
so, if we do exercise consistently, we'll get a good shape.
If we play the golf consistently, we'll be a good player..

So, you can't say fat people is not consistent. ... lol.. that's funny I think.. It doesn't mean if they're not consistent in having a good shape will mean they're not consistent in other aspects.

I have seen many fat people in my life who are successful in their life. OP I feel it's just that you have only met unsuccessful fat people until now in your life.

Stop doing as shown in the above image.

there are people with medical conditions and inherit the gene.

so to conclude every fat people would not do well if somewhat subjective.,

they are people fat still doing well. your from KL i see, Tony Fernando?

they have their own expertise how to do well in their own way.

fat or thin, we have one thing in common for all fierce determination the mind to do well in life. The Brain and Mind., it is how we use them for greater cause.

Note: Partially agree tho, as many fat people has transformed with determination and dedication to live a healthy life.
