    I like this. Put $10 in a jar every day and you'll have over 3k by the end of the year. Log every penny you spend. Analyze, budget and keep tight control over your money. Then you'll be successful.

      I agree that anyone can make money but only the financially intelligent will be able to keep it.

      Keeping track of every penny is something that I do and I find this to be very effective.

      The thing isn't whether you are saving or not, it's what you do with the money after you save it. It is pointless sacrificing in order to save and then go blasting that money on something that is worthless. Saving money is better than doing nothing, however what you really want to be doing is investing that saved money in something that grows your money or preserves it.
