The Message No One Likes To Hear

Are you basing your faith in success off of the program...the coach...the shiny object...or...

(Oh yes, this is the common denominator of failure I've seen over the past 6 years I've been in the online marketing world. People basing their faith in success on the shiny object, the "savior", the magic pill or silver bullet.

(And where does this take you? How long does this faith last?

(Three days.

(The energy to take action that's based on faith in a shiny object depletes in three days.

(Then the poor folk sit around in disappointment and fear for the next few weeks...until the shiny object train "Choo! Choo!" "Ka-ching! Ka-ching!" comes by again.)

...Or...

...you could base your faith in success on something else. Something that is inexhaustible. An endless source of energy:

YOU.

You, as the problem solver. You as the person who will stick it out, come what may, until you succeed.

You will figure it out. No matter how long it takes, you'll endure and keep learning and applying what you learn until you solve the problem.

When you move the source of belief in success, that so-critical faith, from the shiny object to you, you change.

Much of business and life comes down to showing up and sticking around until you outlast the problem. Business is trouble. Business is stress. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying and selling a dream. It can be tremendous fun. You can meet wonderful people. But you will not hit a magic point where all of your problems go away--they will simply be replaced by different...and probably bigger...problems.

So will you give up?

Is your faith in success based on the shiny object? (Then you'll give up within just a few days.)

Or is it based in YOU?

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

Here is the counter issue though ..as a business person . online offline where ever.. your job is to make the shiniest most sparkly objects you can ..if you want to be a success you need to make object that at least do what you say they will do ,, if the end user actually uses them and puts the work in.

If your a chef and you know that the veggies you put on 7 out of 10 plates that leave the kitchen will come back and ent up in the trash because American don't eat their veggies ..your job is not to educate your customers on why they should eat veggies .. it's to put the best veggies on the plate for the people who do eat them .. and then put all those vegies the com back in a bin and sell it to a farm as animal feed .

It is not restricted to online marketing..and this kind of thing shows up in many areas of a person's life ..that why 80-90 percent of people who suddenly acquire large chunks of money.. quickly waste the money and end up worse off.

I have has to purge a lot of those daemons over the last few years ..the real reason people get in this cycle ..is the dream and the dopamine hit ..if they are getting the same kind of high someone doing drugs gets ..without the staying up for 5 days and hallucinating ..and being written of by family and friends part .

well then again the people who actually do something tend to get treated worse than the drug user ..so the secretive habit of buying courses and having that dream of riches and the dopamine hit .. while still having that normal life where no one knows .. so you talk to friend and family .. go to work and have your thought on the easy riches..until you have anther 30-80 dollars to spend on the next hit from the biz op pipe

You always need to base your success on yourself. No one is going to work harder for you than you. Believe in yourself and what you are doing!

    Great post Jason!

This is totally wrong. Success is about systems. You just haven't bought the right system. Get the right Business in a Box, Done For You, while Outsourcing your Selling, Fulfillment and Service and only then should you check your paypal account balance.

More like the Message, Everyone Should Hear.

    Good reality check.

The CORE is you, you are the machine that produces whatever it is the will make you the shiny object. The shiny object is merely an extension of your work.

At the end of the day, WE are more important than the shiny object we cling to.
