The Only Thing That Can Stop You From Being Successful ...

... Is Yourself.

Think about that for a moment.

All of the qualities (etc.) that you need to be a successful
Entrepreneur -- like persistence/determination/etc. ―
can be developed over time as you go along. (If you don't
already have them.)

What People say or think can't stop you in fact it's often a
sign that you're doing something worthwhile in Life.
"Failure" cannot stop you ― it's something that can
accelerate your success. How? By learning something
from it. "Fail forward" as one Entrepreneur put it. Even
"The Devil" cannot stop you.

However ... For all of this to be true you have to do
something important:

Take 100% responsibility for your success
(and "failures")

It's not up to anything or anyone to create the results that
you want ... Success is completely under your control.
Remember this is you will do well.

Good Luck.
: )

P.S.
Just thought I would add something else to this
thread:

Don't Let Fear Stop You ...

Recently I attended my Brother's (Erny's) wedding with
his gorgeous Russian girl and we stayed in The Ritz
Carlton (in Mosco) paid in full by Erny with his website
success.

However for me some of it was difficult/challenging. First
of all at first I was kind of paranoid (with my illness) about
the trip thinking I was being extradited to be killed. (Lol)

Then I had to face my first time being on a plane that
was kind of scary on take off. Then I had to face my
greatest fear about being scared walking up/down stairs.
And finally I had to face my fear of heights.

However I did all that and I'm kind of proud of myself.
: )

Also because of going through all that ... My "everyday
fears" seem much, much smaller and easier to manage.

As Eleanor Roosevelt said:

"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by
every experience in which you really stop to look
fear in the face."

really ..so your success in a business has nothing to do with the facts that it's currently the thing to do.. and the barriers for entry cost wise is lower than ever .. or the availability of capital is growing with crowdfunding ..

the world is changing fast.. new opportunities and markets are emerging all the time ... develop the skill or stack multiple skills to build the kind of success you want ..

the only thing you control.. is your response to what is going on and how you see it and react to it..

the thing that will stop you is trying to replicate the success others have had..that can't be replicated now .. or with the skills you have..or the level of desire ..

You can continually make your self and your life better .. and day to day there is more advancement and research .. an up to date strategies..you can find and apply ..

Definitely. Well said Odahh. It's not what happens to a Person (in Business or in Life) it's how they respond that counts: Choose to respond positively.

You can continually make your self and your life better ....
      Absolutely ...
Something I learned from Eben Pagan ... You can always keep growing and evolving.

        no problem..

in the world we live in there is a good chance that several of the thing that will contribute to the level of success you have in 5-10 years..are not invented yet or still being developed and waiting to pop ..

or they are there but no one has figured out how to monitize them yet..

the other factor..is to decide what success really is .. the world at large define it as the thing you do that makes the most money.. but that might be about to shift .. again as it is taking less and less money to do many things..that government can't drive the cost of up..

..i have been watching to much jordan peterson and malcom gladwell lately..as well as studying early retirement community

the think and grow rich philosophy was great for the 20th century phase of the industrial revolution.. now it is more about being rapidly addaptable to a world changing a lighning fast speed

this might sound harsh .. as i ask it.. but is you want o deliver empowering content through your website.. are you going to do the same thing you do here and pretty much throw up the same word written in the last hundred years ..by popular authors..

or will you eventually start to put this stuff in your words ..your take on these concepts ..how Johnathan is trying to explain this to us..verse just pretty much copy pasting the work of others ..

you are not your thoughts or your views sometimes it sting when people criticize your views.. but that leads to better understand of the belief and why it stings..

at this point you are hiding your views behind the popular wisdom of others ..

Let my prod you ..that your success with your mission to deliver empowering content.. will be from developing your own empowering ideas and delivering them ..

and with that look at what is popular now and hitting nerves .. in the so called intellectual dark web .. people are hungry not for motivation.. but prescriptive advice ..on what they can actually do to improve their lives .. rather than get sucked into the cycle of of consuming motivational content and rarely if ever doing anything ..

Hi Odahh: I appreciate your honesty.

Yeah essentially it's already published advice that I personally find inspiring/empowering/etc. That's the purpose of my Website. If it doesn't fulfil that purpose then it will be a complete failure, so to speak. However I think it's worth going through with it just in case.

And if it doesn't work, I will take all the "lessons" learned and begin working on something else/similar that I have in mind.

          Jonathan

Exactly ― and if they would have just kept going they would have succeeded.

I've read many times that one of the strongest times to be tempted to to give up is right when success is almost within reach ... (And that many of the World's greatest Entrepreneurs reported that their greatest success came right after their greatest "failure.")

      Cheers.

Truth here. For me it was me cowering to my fears. I'd fear posting on Warrior, due to receiving criticism, and honored it, losing traffic and eBook sales. But diving into the fear, feeling it, and posting anyway created greater success. On all types of platforms. Dive in, and you will win.

I've said it before however the more afraid a Person is, the more courage it takes to face and overcome that fear. As Mark Twain said: "Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear -- not absence of fear." (Just something I find helpful to remember.)

i have been really questioning what success is over the past few months ..

and if there is any part of success you have to take 100 percent responsibility for ..it is the definition of what you build your life around the purpose you give to why you are doing things ..

the freedpm to design your life how you want to live it and take the steps however extreme to get on that path and learning what you need to learn and surrounding yourself with the people you need to learn from...

even if those people are people you can learn by observing what not to do..see how they make their mistakes so you don't have to ..

the anti mentors so to speak ..

and for a good amount of time and from time to time you will probably look like a failure or crazy to the rest of the world ..as you dig in and learn new skills you will need to live the life you want ..

the old success path that was taught to the population.. is not looking as good as it once did.. as it generally stopped at a point called retirement ..so you built up a bunch of money from working and saving or building a business and then retired to live the dream life ..

envision the dream life and start builing it today..no retirement needed ..

(i think ryan figured that out a while back it looks like )

We're all blessed right now to design the lives we want thanks to The Internet and our ambition

Sometimes that's the risk you take: You might not look good to certain People however it's all part of being successful

it's beyond the internet why we can design the lives we want..it is one of the many tools ..it is more the vast array of choices at low cost..and ease of learning new skills that took a lot more effort and exploration ..

it's less negative or positive.. but respectful or disrespectful ..if people are going to disrespect you .. you either punish that disrespect or cut them out of your life .. and cutting them out of your life is probably the best option ..or blocking the amount of poer people can think they have to disrespect you .. you don't have to be violent or threatening ..

True, if you come into contact with individuals who will call you a lair instead of accepting self doubt about something, and make a federal case about replying to a condescending comment, they should be avoided at all costs!

And individuals who make assumptions, and ....about with your actions, instead of asking first, is another.

I must admit that I still have many things to learn, I need to learn and study techniques and strategies to hit my goal. There are many strategies over the internet that will help us to be successful, but at the end of the day, we are the ones who will take the step ahead and give our best.
